I ordered through Uber Eats and their packaging was even TOPNOTCH! Nothing leaked, everything was in a separate container & placed within a plastic bag that was then placed inside a large tote like brown paper bag that contained my ENTIRE ORDER! #Impressed 🙌🏿💪🏿💃🏿
I already know that the location & the staff is TOP TIER without me even stepping my big toe inside the spot! 😝🤣🤞🏿 Trust my story Family, they put some serious thought, time and attention into our meal and the presentation!

Nice place, but I didn't like the tacos. Not enough meat for $15 & for it to be on pita bread. But that's not the issue, I thought the chicken was boneless, but it was chopped up chicken thighs, it was hard, I bit down on a couple of Bones, it's only had 3 pieces of cilantro, & 5 pieces of onions. 🤷🏾♀️ My husband had the whole chicken dinner & it was good. ❤️👍🏽We will return to try other items on the menu.

I’m tired of these food places that think we owe them something. I love black people but their business tactics are horrible. You can’t place an order over the phone, when you place an order in person the cashier doesn’t understand how to listen to the customer.
The look on your face tells us you don’t wanna be at work and that you don’t like people in your face ordering food. If only we could order over the phone and then you can actually hear the persons correct order.
The food is the biggest scam. They take one breast and cut it up in three pieces add a bunch of gravy soaked rice and call it a four piece special. Charge you $15 for it and give it to you in the flimsiest boxes and now all the sides is falling out the box in the bag.
Black businesses need to do better. Its 2025 DO BETTER!!!! Or move over and let someone else make your business a good business. Overpriced Low Quality food Bad customer service

The food was Terrible! The BBQ was boiled Instead of grilled! The macaroni had no taste or seasoning! The cabbage was ok, didn't touch the red beans & rice was disappointed with everything else!! Don't advertise BBQ If you're going to boil your meat!! That was a waste of $$$$!!!

I'm gonna keep it quick and simple I went here today for the first time the ladies greeted me with smiles and professionalism and the chicken has got to be the most tender chicken I've ever had in my life from a jerk spot and the flavor permeates through the meat. The candy amps are not mushy or overly sweet and the cabbage is seasoned ridiculously great. We'll be back ASAP

Worst place I've EVER BEEN IN MY LIFE, I GOT CURRY GOAT, AND JERK CHICKIN, MY MAC AND AND CHEESE Taste like it was days old, my curry goat was tough, !! It just seems like they warmed everything up from days before and gave it to me,, I'm Jamaican !!! Gooottt damn hands down on this place... Only thing that was together was the rice and peas...!!

Went in last night (10/03/2025) to purchase jerk wings and usually they're good & fresh, but last night they mixed old dried up wings (the texture was like chicken jerky) in with a few fresh wings and to me that is unexceptable. Okay, from now on I'll be going back to the Taste of Jamaica 🇯🇲 in Highland. I can't do crunchy dried up jerk wings & this was the 2nd time this occurred. The first time they did replace my order & I was given some fresh ones the next day, but I don't want to keep repeating this experience every time I place an order for Jerk wings. I'm done done. 🙅🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️

My wife and I was out on Sunday to grab a bite to eat. We initially went to buy food from the wrap next door, but they were closed. So, we said let's try this jerk place and boy it was a jerk. We were very disappointed at the employee that was working at the time taking orders. He was on the phone the entire time we were there about 10min. Not once did he acknowledge us. Even after he was done with his first call. Very poorly ran business. I don't know how long this place has been open but with employees like that it probably won't stay open. First rule, always acknowledge your customers no matter what. Granted, my wife and I didn't have to stop there but we wanted to patronize the community. Boy was that a mistake. So, we left this facility and drover up to Merrillville found a restaurant bought $50.00 worth of food took it home and enjoyed it.
