I honestly only leave reviews when the service is just that bad that I can’t help it. I’ve ordered from this place times before and it’s decent usually. Not the best jerk I’ve had but it’ll do. But today was terrible. First, they cut off their phone so you couldn’t order in. So I get there and order a single dark dinner with Mac & cheese and yams, and a 1/2 dark. Again I’ve ordered this before and haven’t had too big of problems. But the guy who was back there today wasn’t the usual guy and it showed. Not only did it take almost 30 minutes for me to get my food, but when I finally get it the chicken is old and dried out. I was already upset about the wait but said I understand because the chicken must be coming out fresh. But hell no this chicken was definitely old. So I have no idea what took 30 minutes for me to be sold some chicken that clearly has been sitting for awhile. Then the Mac and cheese is only god knows what. It literally looks like prison slop and im too disgusted to even try it. Im very disappointed because this was my lunch today and I almost was late for work waiting on the food and the quality is absolutely terrible.

Well, I've given them too many. There was a time I came here and ordered some chicken, and it wasn't cooked thoroughly. I let that slide and just reheated it at home. There was another day where I ordered a dinner and my side dishes tasted like it should've gone in the trash the day before! Three strikes and you're out... My last time ordering I got another dinner and it was not to my liking. Not sure why my jerked chicken was in a pool of liquid. I've tried my best to support this business for the past three years. I got a jerk chicken dinner with yams and mac for the sides. Omg mixing this all together was everything! The flavors marry so well! I tasted the ox tails and beybeh let me just say this was my first time so I havent had everything on the menu but this is probably THE BEST THING ON THE MENU! The service was great and Chefew is great! I will be back! I do not have a picture because I ATE IT! ? but the chicken was cooked perfectly as was everything else! With love and time for sure!!

Sorry maybe the other locations are better but the one in Gary I won’t go back . $19 dinner with no rice .l? The side of rice was gross it was gooey ! Cabbage how can you mess that up and you couldn’t even see the cook in the back no lights cooking in the dark inside smells like old burnt oil tropical island needs to open back up something told me not to go here but I was really in the mood for jerk

It’s authentic bt lacking flavor. Shrimp size was perfect bt also boiled and unseasoned. Cabbage was passable & rice and peas were more of a sweet flavor than Caribbean seasoned. For the price I was expecting more bt the food fell short of expectations. “Side note” I ordered around 8pm on a weekday & they close @ 10pm
