Being from Chicago we already knew Jj’s was going to have good chicken. Walking in the smell was unpleasant like dirty mop water yet the floor did not appear clean. It’s an older building so it needs repairs and maintenance, not a big deal. We were hungry and the other chicken spot we went to first had issues.
The woman at the counter was courteous and helpful, I knew the food was going to be good! We ordered chicken and fries with mild sauce and lemon pepper. Our wait time was about 15 minutes.
We ate some fries and a piece of chicken until we got home. Once we got home we ate more. I noticed some of the fries looked refried but the chicken looked fine.
Later that evening my stomach was cramping, I was nauseous, just overall felt horrible. My husband ate his later at work and had the same feelings. The oil they fried the food in was bad/old. It’s a taste IYKYK, if you know you know. Would we return for a second chance, probably not because we don’t live in Indiana and we need some time, my stomach is still tender.

Guy answers the phone at 11:39pm, tells me they're not taking any more call-in orders. So then I asked alright, I can still come in right, and he said yeah if you can get here in time. I got here at 11:47 p.m. and the doors are locked when clearly on the Google it says that they close at 12:00 a.m.

One thing I hate is to be lied to and when the business does not do what it says it does. As a Certified Business Coach I'm well aware of the fact that any business needs to be integral and honest about all of its business dealings. And i coach all ig my Clients to do the same. A Business can open and close whenever it wants to. However, if you're going to close and lock the doors by 11:45pm, then you should put on your doors and online that you close at 11:45 p.m. not say you close at 12:00 a.m. and then lock the doors 15 minutes early. After YOU just literally talked to a Customer, 7 minutes ago.

Guess this is why JJ Fish started going down a long time ago, and Sharks took over, and the same in other Cities................

Called in to order a 6 wing dinner. The young lady informed me of the 5 wing lunch special at a cheaper price. She didn't have to do that and I do appreciate it. My food was fresh and I enjoyed it... Keep it tho!!

This morning I stopped by JJ Fish and Chicken for breakfast and ordered 3 pieces of catfish with fries. From the moment I walked in, I was amazed by the hospitality of the host—an amazing brother who made me feel right at home. The food was delicious, fresh, and the price was very decent. I’m truly glad I decided to stop by.

May Allah protect my brothers in faith at this place and increase their rizq. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for serving the people of this community with such kindness and excellence.

I really enjoyed this location. They actually give you your money‘s worth of what you order and much more. I always get more than I want with the food and it’s always fresh. I actually like going through the drive-through more than going inside the building if you go inside does it smell very good I don’t know if they have any plumbing issues or what the problem is, but it needs to be a little bit cleaner inside than through the drive-through but overall the customer service experience is nice. The people always go over your order and make sure you get what you ask for and even sometime I get much more. They’re very nice and they usually get your food out in a manageable time and you’re actually not waiting very long. They always reach you with a smile no matter how many customers you have and that makes a difference so I give this store overall a two thumbs up I can see the building. I think these will work on inside. I’m not sure what the situation is why it smells in there but overall when I go to the drive-through for me is the best. Thank you for a good customer service overall, I’ll give them two thumbs up.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but this time I really feel the need to. Today I ordered online for a pickup, my wife was near the restaurant, so I had her pick it up. The guy that gave her the food was beyond rude, she didn’t have the app installed and he demanded her to see the order, but she speaks very little English so she video called me, he started yelling at her, she mentioned the order was on my name, which should have been enough, I have ordered before and never asked to see the app, I screenshotted the order, but her phone was about to die so wasn’t able to show it. The guy got impatient, and wouldn’t give her the food, she got to the car to charge the phone, and then he called her (still yelling), she wouldn’t understand what he was saying and phone was still dead, at the end he gave her the order reluctantly. She got home crying, I will never do business with them anymore.
