This has been the worst black owned restaurant I've been to. The food wasn't good at all the pound cake is very dry the turkey tips taste like delicious turkey, the Mac and cheese is bland with a flour after taste. I spoke to the so called manager and he has very poor bed side manner, rude, and very combative. He was not giving me a refund because I didn't like the taste or quality of the food. Got hainty because I asked him not to call me baby and told me since my husband bought my food to have him to come to the restaurant for a refund . When my husband got there he told his staff to say he wasn't there. This food is not good

I was in town to get my cdl and a co-worker showed me this spot. It was most definitely worth the stop! The food is awesome and CHEAP especially for the portions they give you! Anytime I’m on my way to Chicago I’m making a pit stop here now. Support your small businesses!

Food is terrible. Catfish was large could’ve been good but wasn’t cooked through. Mac and cheese was overcooked and tasted salty. I’m not sure how you get salty Mac and cheese. Yams weren’t cooked properly some were hard. Wasn’t candied.

Green were really good although portion was small. Mac and cheese was just OK. I thought it was microwaved to regeat. Ribs were average. If this is the red building g on the corner lot. It was OK. A nice drive for me. I probably won't be back.

Large rib tip was AMAZING, talk about juicy,tender, and plenty of sauce! Wish there were more fries given how much sauce there was, but I am grateful to have more rib tips than fries, a lot of places trick u with alot of fries.This is my second time having it and it has not missed. Exceeded my expectations, good barbecue is hard to find ! Price was very reasonable given 2 large orders was less than $40. I have heard good things about the pot roast and meat loaf, I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.me and Me and my husband sat outside the restaurant 15 minutes eating because it was so good 🤣

I’ve been there about 4 times now. Food is cooked fresh. Always hot. Never disappoints. Friday is a great day for fish special. Comes with 2 catfish filets, 2 sides and a beverage for $15. Deserts are good. 3pc wing and ribtip combo is good as well. Sides are just like grandma use to make.
