Exterior looks a little run down but it is more of a throw back retro environment. Interior is quintessential pizza joint with some retro photos of the area. Service was friendly. They can partially bake pizzas for finishing at home, which I did. Deep dish was incredibly delicious. Tasted like a bit of cornmeal in the dough which is my fav.
Love the pizza n even the sandwiches. However the price you pay for the small portion you get in the sandwiches just isn't worth it. A good sandwich don't get me wrong but for price to size of portion will just stick with the pizza.
