Great first experience! Service was top notch. Our server, Mari, was very informative about menu items.
My friend and I were excited to try this place and left very disappointed. We sat down for 25 minutes and were completely ignored for some odd reason. There was 1 table when we came in and 4 people at the bar, all already served. The server passed our table multiple times, and when we let her know we were ready to order, she immediately helped another customer. We were polite to everyone, so I’m not sure if they just didn’t want to work or what. No matter, go to Del’s down the street or anywhere else if you actually want to be served.

Went there this morning with a group of 8 and it was amazing. Angela was the best!!! Food, service and atmosphere are amazing!!!
went with a party of 8 today for brunch! service was OUTSTANDING! i wish i got our waitress’ name-so friendly and personable. the brisket hash was on point and i loved my tall dark and handsome latte. we were all full and happy at the end of our dining experience. will have to come back for dinner!!
It’s been almost 3 weeks since our first and only visit to Tiny’s after being highly recommended but our experience was pure disappointment. The barista didn’t seem knowledgeable with how to make our lattes, possibly new since he asked questions to the other employee working about them. The quiche like muffins seemed to be good until we found either olives or something else in them.
The atmosphere looks very nice and the cinnamon roll was great but coffee was terrible. Our review will be an outlier but unfortunately that was our experience.

Tiny’s Coffee House – Miller Beach, IN
Today I slid through Tiny’s Coffee House in Miller Beach, right outside Gary. And let me tell y’all — this ain’t just some random café. This is a statement piece. Tiny’s is proof that Miller Beach is leveling up, shaking off the dust, and stepping into something fresh.
Atmosphere & Vibe
Soon as you walk in, you feel it — cozy but alive. No chain-store coldness here. Tiny’s is for the people, by the people. During the day, they keep it tight: salads, wraps, burgers, fried chicken sandwiches — straight-to-the-point, no filler. At night, the menu stretches out bigger, but even at lunch you’ve got options. And yo, the bakery case? Dangerous. Cinnamon rolls, pastries, bagels, mini quiches — all staring at you like, “Don’t play, you know you want this sugar.”
What I Ate
I wasn’t about to play it safe, so I hit the biscuits and gravy with brisket. That plate came out like it had something to prove — hearty, smoky, stick-to-your-ribs good. Then I doubled back with a Maxwell Street Burger loaded with caramelized onions. Chicago folks know that burger’s got history, and Tiny’s nailed it. That’s the kind of meal that shuts you up mid-bite — all you can do is nod.
Coffee Game
Now the coffee? Man, listen. Tiny’s is roasting their beans in-house, and it shows. I had three cups before I even noticed. Smooth, strong, fresh. Before I left, I scooped up a 2 lb. bag of beans to grind at the crib — because once you taste it here, Folgers back home just feels like punishment.
Service & Hospitality
Respect to Matthew, the owner, who showed love with a complimentary breakfast so we could really explore the menu. That ain’t just customer service — that’s community. That’s a dude who believes in what he’s building.
Final Word
Bottom line: Tiny’s Coffee House is the real deal. Food? Homemade and legit. Coffee? Roasted to perfection. Atmosphere? Chill but buzzing with energy. Miller Beach ain’t what it used to be — it’s better. Tiny’s is proof. If you’re rolling through, pull up, sip something strong, and see what the new Miller Beach tastes like.

We love Tiny’s! Great neighborhood spot in Miller beach. The burger is divine. The kimchi fried rice is delicious. Had the shrimp risotto and it was perfect. Bartenders know how to make great craft cocktails. Ambience is cozy, sophisticated without being pretentious. Definitely worth stopping in for great food, chill vibes & friendly service.
Update: Had a lovely brunch today. Sat at the bar. Great service, ambience, mimosas, and delicious shrimp & grits. 😋
