La Cascada Mexican Restaurant

went to la cascada for the first time last week. Ordered our food and waited FOREVER for it to get to our table while others that ordered after us got their food, ate and left before we got ours. I ordered shredded chicken chimichanga with fish added and my husband ordered the seafood chimichanga with chicken added. When we finally got our food mine was not shredded chicken and it had beef in it which I did not order. Mine also had something else that I'm not 100% sure what it was in it. My husband's did not have any chicken and the crab meat was disgusting. His also had something in it that we don't know what it was. We told the waiter and he said it was crab meat but it was in mine too and I did not order it (glad I'm not allergic)! the waiter did take my meal off the ticket since it was wrong. We got up to pay and they tried charging an extra 1.35 for my margarita! Definitely NOT worth going to and make sure you check your ticket before leaving!!

I ordered the enchiladas supremacy to go. I live 10 minutes from restaraunt. Start to eat and it is stone cold-cheese not even melted. I called and they replaced it. The cheese was half melted after only a 10 minute drive. Chips are stale. Will not be back

Service wasn’t great. Waiter didn’t check on us to see if everything was ok. I got nachos with cheese and couldn’t eat them. The chips were incredible stale. Don’t recommend it one bit

I was hopeful for this popular Mexican restaurant, yet my al pastor tacos each had what seemed like a spoonful of meat in each. It was almost laughable. The tables seemed worn out and out dated. Only a 1 person bathroom. Had to wait 20 minutes after getting their to use it.

We used to carry out a couple of times a month, but the last time we did the food wasn't good. Half way though my enchiladas, I found something that wouldn't chew up. It turned out to be a chunk of packaging plastic. Sorry, guys! You had a good thing for a while, but I prefer my food to be plastic free. We've not been back.

We ordered a la carte today because we eat low-carb. No rice or beans with our lunch. Tamales, enchiladas, and tamales with queso and red sauce. Delicious!! We haven't eaten there for a bit to remain low-carb. Our server was wonderful and came by regularly to check on us. What a tasty splurge for us. Yummy!

I've been to a lot of restaurants and what stood out at this one was the wonderful atmosphere and very cheerful service. The food was great the restaurant is beautiful, and most of all the people are so kind.

Kid-friendliness: Daughter is taking Spanish lessons and they were giving her recommendations on what TV shows are best to watch for her specific understanding of the language.

Have ordered take out multiple times, it’s never ready. They haven’t even started cooking it no matter how long it we wait to go. Our order is always wrong/ missing items.

Food and service were great but the business practices are terrible. They charge more for using a card, but the prices are still high for the area. Would love to come back if they fix their scummy business practices.
