Donuts done right! The cinnamon rolls and churros are the best around. And their custard filling isn’t the premade, heavily processed goop most bakeries use. I appreciate the extra effort they put into their desserts. I’ve yet to try their soups and sandwiches but hope they’re as good as their sweet treats.

I stopped at the drive-thru and waited for around 10 minutes before I drove off. In that time several employees had stopped to talk to each other in front of the window or just walk by the window. It was very unprofessional.

Ordered breakfast for dinner, and the portions were amazing and huge. As far as service, it was generally efficient, not prompt, and certainly not friendly, but efficient. No greeting, acknowledgement, nothing. If you are looking for large, filling portions, and don't want to be talked to, this is your place.

I’m pretty understanding when it comes to patronizing small business because I try to support them any chance I get. Honestly the only reason it’s not 1 star is because I respect the fact they are small business’. We waited an hour for food when the place was about 1/4 full. I get it, places are short staffed. I wouldn’t have cared had the food been good.
My breakfast sandwich was inedible. Ham was like shoe leather, the sausage patty was dried out and literally tasted like a bad frozen jimmy deans. It was falling apart, my wife ate hers reluctantly but had to use a fork and didn’t eat the ham. I took a few bites and left it. My kids (who were ready to go by the way them being 2 and 4) seemed to enjoy their eggs that came out incorrectly. The nail in the coffin for me was we weren’t even asked how the food was other wise I would have been honest. But when we got the check we were charged for sides we never even received. It was taken off the check when I brought it to the staffs attention. Between some of the staff play fighting/ flirting on the floor, and everything else, I won’t be going back.
It’s too bad I have to drive into the city to get a decent meal. And the prices did not even match for what you receive. I paid good money for my meal- 2 hours of my life essentially, and this was bottom 3 dining experiences of my life. I live in Georgetown and was hoping to make this my regular place. Looks like I’ll keep driving into Louisville to patronize business’ that can serve their customers. Best of luck to the owner but if I were the owner id be having a serious conversation with the staff and most likely adjust my prices. Keep in mind eggs are FOUR DOLLARS each Al’s cart. And pan cakes were 6.99 for a single. I

Excellent service and delicious doughnuts!
Update: 11/1/2025
The waitress was very kind and attentive. She also apologized numerous times for the long wait. We were there for 2 hours for breakfast and we can deal with the wait but the food came out cold. The eggs, bacon,, gravy, hashbrowns, everything with the exception of the sausage patty, was cold. We have always loved the Georgetown bakery and the doughnuts are phenomenal but I was not impressed with the breakfast coming out cold. We love to support small businesses so I hate leaving bad feedback but would definitely suggest keeping the food under warmers if its not able to be served.

Went to the drive thru at 5:05 this morning. Lights were on but no one came to the window. I'll have to try again sometime later.

Onsite bakeries are getting harder to come by.
This one still make tasty , very tasty goodies.
The only thing I would do differently next visit is forego the country ham. It was so full of gristle, it was uneatable.
Otherwise the ingredients are all top notch.

The atmosphere is night and day different from the last time we came here at the beginning of the summer. The food was much better and the service was efficient. It definitely has changed for the better. The donuts are not squished to pieces either and they taste so much better.
