Food is absolutely fantastic. The whole family enjoyed their different meals. Everything was flavorful without being too salty. They absolutely nailed the authentic tacos- meat wasn't dry, tortillas were perfect (not dry, soggy, or greasy). The red salsa was good. The salsa verde is probably the best I've had. Excellent authentic food.

Since the Restaurant appended I visited fewer times but now it’s more often the my family and I choose to eat there we love all their food and menu nice people good service there I waitress is so nice and patient

El Zocalo Authentic Mexican Cuisine was delicious. You're served generous portions that are amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful. The Old Bag Factory is a unique setting and they've done well with the limited space. There's also nice outdoor seating. We'll definitely be back!

Your food is outstanding.... The best Authentic Mexican in Town.... Your hours.... Total garbage..... Closed Monday that's fine, you need days off, CLOSED ON TACO TUESDAY???? Wednesday and Thursday (and Sunday, which would make more sense to be closed) open til 6? Right at dinner time, that's totally bonkers!!!! If I could give 5 starts I WOULD..... but your hours suck!!!

I've eaten at El Zócalo about 10 times since moving to Goshen last year. The first time, I thought "this might be the best Mexican restaurant in the city." The second time, I thought "this might be the best in Elkhart County." And every time since then has only confirmed that belief for me. The dishes expertly pair traditional ingredients and techniques with creative flair. The Tacos Bravas and Chori-Pollo are two dishes that come immediately to mind for blending tradition and creativity with high quality ingredients and great technique.

Come hungry, too, because most of the dishes I've tried are very generously portioned. Last night I had the Torta Cubana, which might have been one of the 10 best sandwiches I've ever had, and also was the size of a newborn baby.

And if the weather is nice, don't hesitate to dine on their little balcony overlooking the walkway between the Depot and the Bag Factory. It's shaded and breezy and quite pleasant.
