Love coming here, the food is great and love that it's truly the last of a dying breed, soda fountain shop. We will continue coming for years to come!

Excellent, old-school candy shop and breakfast/lunch restaurant. My wife had a BLT and I had a full order of biscuits and gravy (4 halves), both were delicious. A trip to their restroom is an adventure to the basement and the steps only have railing on the bottom half, so you might want to avoid that. We took home some dark chocolate turtles, which are first rate!

I haven't got a chance to dine here yet, but I am looking forward to it after tasting the homemade chocolate. I did a freight delivery for XPO last week. It was after hours and the gentleman still accepted the delivery. He showed me the store and gave me the quick history on it's originality and grass roots. He was very kind and very helpful. He even gifted me with A box of chocolates that me and my wife absolutely enjoyed. I am definitely planning a future trip there with my family soon. Thank you again Kare for the chocolates and for your hospitality. See you soon.

If you ever travel to Goshen, Indiana you have to come to this place. Excellent soda shop, candies and great food. The BLT was so fresh, cooked right in front of you. I had a cherry sprite that was awesome!!

I am usually at Olympia on Saturday for breakfast, and sometimes lunch. The food is always excellent and the staff is always courteous and friendly.
It’s always nice to see former staff members make a guest appearance.
I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy, any of their omelets, and they have a great selection of sandwiches for lunch. You must experience it for yourself.

Food is pretty expensive for the amount that you get. They charge you for an omelet and two pieces of toast what you would pay elsewhere for a larger omelet with more cheese, hash browns, a drink, and two pancakes. Their drinks are also $3 each and come in small cups.
Service is hit or miss, sometimes the wait staff is on top of drinks and other times you might wait for awhile for a refill
Atmosphere is pleasant but not worth expense
Biggest issue is the cooks handling food without gloves, both before and after cooking. That’s freaking gross! Occasionally they put on gloves without washing their hands first. Changing gloves without washing hands. And handling food, barehanded, without washing hands.
I won’t be returning until I see clean review from health dept

A regular because of the food and the people. It is an atmosphere where I can relax. And you're surrounded by handmade candy.
Parking: The availability for parking varies because the closest is street parking. There is a city parking lot nearby.
Wheelchair accessibility: The front door is wheelchair accessible. It can be a bit tight inside because the building is more than 100 years old. I have worked with the staff to bring someone in with a wheelchair though.

The Olympia is a wonderful place! You can't get better candy(made on site) and the food is good old fashioned. Burgers and fries. Also the best milk shake anywhere.

Above average ? Definitely has that old nostalgic charm. The place was packed on a Saturday afternoon. I will return and am trying the milkshake next time! I hear that their breakfast is good too. They had cases of a variety of candies available (sorry, no pics of that).
