“They don't make them like this anymore - literally. The building housing this small tavern in tiny Gosport was built in 1835. It's definitely not fancy, and much of the decor looks original. It does feature a very nice old wooden bar. The bar food was simple but very well prepared.“

“I ordered a pizza and breadsticks for our race team and picked it up on the way to the racetrack down the road. The food was SOOOO hot, fresh, and delicious! The shop was slammed, yet they didn’t lack on quality or kindness! From the call to order to pick up, everyone was beyond friendly and polite. I will go out of my way to get pizza from here more often!! 🤤“

“Not a huge buffet but what they had was tasty and the price was very reasonable. They have most of the standard buffet items. The seafood bake was especially good. I burned my mouth on the crab Rangoon (my fault), the hot & sour soup was passable and the green beans were bright green and delicious. The egg rolls are good for buffet fare but no egg foo young, some buffets have it, but not this one. The main dishes didn’t all taste the same. They had both vegetables and meat in them unlike some that leave out the veggies for some reason. The spicy pork had hot peppers in it if you want the heat but the sauce itself wasn’t spicy. The pepper steak was good, the beef was tender and the green pepper and onion wasn’t missing or over cooked. The chicken in every dish was good, for example, the sweet and sour chicken which is deep fried in batter was moist inside as were all the different deep fried dishes. I’d say this was the most outstanding quality of this buffet, moist tender meats in all their dishes. Lastly, they have the regular inedible dessert items which I always skip but they had the best hand scooped ice cream I’ve had at a cheap Chinese buffet.

We were (my wife and I) so impressed and satisfied after our first time eating here, we came back the next day.

Another plus, unlike some buffets that getcha with the beverage charge, this buffet includes your beverage. I love that too.

Sorry, closed on Mondays. Found this out last Monday when we wanted to go there again. We live about 40 minutes away so when we have some other reason to go to Bloomington, we go out to eat. But not here on a Monday. You’ve been warned you.

Parking: Huge parking lot.

Kid-friendliness: There were lots of families with children and I think there was a child’s buffet price. (I could be wrong but based on the fact that we got a senior discount, I think I saw a child’s meal listed too but after I saw I could get 10% off for being old, I kinda stopped reading)

Wheelchair accessibility: Outside from the parking lot there are ramps to get on the store front sidewalks. There is a door threshold as you come in but not impassable for a wheel chair. Once inside you’ll be able to navigate easily and if your chair fits a standard table height, you’ll be sitting pretty. Serving yourself in a wheelchair from a buffet sounds difficult to me but I’ve never had to do it. Your experience and available assistance to help serve are up to you to judge. It’s accessible but it’s a buffet.“

“The Pizza is fantastic!! The white hair man who delivered ripped the free delivery coupon out of my hand. It's not customers fault the business is offeing free delivery. Do you not get paid hourly? In my job that's all I get, no tip for servicing the public. Next time I'll just pick up my order as I always do. It's Friday evening am tired from work all week & don't appreciate the attitude.“

“The Food !!! I recommended the food. Prices aren't bad either. With the sandwiches you can either get 2 sides or 1 side and a drink. I only ate half a sandwich and half of the fries and I was full !“

“This has always been a favorite of mine since being a child. Went in yesterday and had a large deep dish with pepperoni. It hit the spot. Pizza was great, and the breadsticks are the best in the area. The mild cheese dip and the garlic butter are my go to's for dipping. The staff were great. Our waitress was upbeat and all around did an amazing job!“
