“After watching our grand daughter play volleyball, we looked for someplace different to eat before heading 1 1/2 hour home. My husband did his research and found The Putnam Inn. This was a buffet with fried chicken - his favorite. For 7 pm at night, the place was almost bare but the buffet was fully stocked with hot variety food. Salad bar and desserts included. My husband ate 8 pieces of chicken and many sides to go along with it; mashed potatoes, rolls, Mac & cheese….. we loved the variety of options and the servers and other personnel we spoke with were very kind and welcoming! Thanks for a great place to stop!!”

“we usually come for my birthday because the food is so amazing, this year we made a reservation for our 5 year anniversary. let's just say they went all out! flowers on the table our names on the menus and a glass of wine, along with amazing service and great food these are more reasons we will keep telling people this is the place to go. 5 🌟”

“Today we had lunch at Almost Home Restaurant & Swizzle Stick Bar, and it was delicious! We’ve done dinner here, and it was PHENOMENAL, and their lunch offerings are on that same level. We had the Garlic Cheese Curds and Bleu Cheese Buffalo Pub Chips for apps, and both were very tasty. For my lunch, I ordered the Almost Home Favorite meal with their Tearoom Original Chicken Salad on croissant, Roasted Red Pepper soup of the day, and Garden Salad. The soup and salad was very good, and that chicken salad was ah-may-zing!!!”

“New to the area so I have been trying all the different places to eat. I have to say Lost Hollow Beer Co is hands down the best restaurant I’ve tried in Greencastle to date. I had their fried pickles and bone in wings. Both were the best I’ve had anywhere. The service was great and loved the atmosphere as well.”

“What a great stop at Putnam County airport! The service was prompt and the menu is decent, offering something for everyone—from breakfast items to sandwiches, salads, and burgers. The atmosphere is unique, especially the nice outdoor seating area where you can relax and watch the runway activity. We recommend this restaurant and we'll come back soon!”

“Breadsticks and Pizza had great flavor. Better than most. However the breadsticks were under cooked. I'm assuming because they were grouped together in 5's. Fat part of the pizza crust was under cooked by a few mins. Manager was very receptive and understood my concerns. We will come back for sure. Just slightly disappointing”

“Literally the best tacos ever!!!! Everything is so fresh all the time. The fact that you can basically make your own tacos is amazing. They have something for everyone including my picky kids.lol chicken and rice for them and tacos 🌮 for me! The Horchata is made from scratch!!!”

“We loved the college pub/sports bar vibes at Moore's! I only tried the Seafood Dip (which was tasty!) since I wasn't that hungry, but the Hangover Tenderloin, Ultimate PB&J, and Cuban caught my attention - I'll be back with a bigger appetite to try those!”

“Well I just had THE BEST strawberry ice cream I've had in a long time so that's enough for me!

I asked specifically if their ice cream was made in house and the cashier said they all were except for some select flavors. Strawberry is one they do in house and it tastes way more like strawberries than most generic ones!

“Hunt Brothers Pizza is a great pizza for anybody searching for really good tasting food the employees are always very respectful their Pizza is also never undercooked or overcooked it is always just right with a perfect amount of toppings”

“What an amazing space! The layout and decor are super cool, and the view from the upstairs dining area is second to none. I didn't get a chance to try the coffee drinks, but we did try a glazed yeast donut and sausage/egg/cheese breakfast sandwich on brioche - both were delicious! Lots of great items for take out as well, definitely check this spot out!”

“Tucked a little out of sight, this mom and pop Chinese food place is going to cook you some decent food. I find I need a bit extra soy sauce since I don't think they use MSG, which is a 50/50 good/bad, in my opinion. They were never rude, understood my questions easily and without repeating, and they did not have a long wait time before bringing the food out. The seating area was as you'd expect in a hole-in-the-wall. Only a handful of tables but ample seating for a medium sized group or family. Prices were very reasonable with a lot of mealy for 8$ and the average stomach could get two meals out of it. Solid 4 stars.”

“If you've eaten at Chinas Best Buffet in Brazil, you are in for a big surprise. The food here is outstanding. The food was fresh and delicious. The restaraunt was very clean and maintained well.”

I got a BMT with everything other than black olives along with 2 other sandwiches and the food was really good. Halen, Blake, and Phil are some great sandwich artist! Recommend going to this Subway!
