Marvin's is a nice restaurant that offers a consistently positive experience. If you haven't been, I highly recommend checking it out! The food I had was pretty good, and the overall atmosphere was nice and welcoming. What really makes the difference is the great service. Overall, it’s a pretty good restaurant and a reliable choice.

A Greencastle institution! We've been dining here for 15 years, and the food is delicious always and the quality is completely consistent. The friendly staff create good vibes. If you visit, my absolute go-to is the GCB and cheese fries! A definite must-try that I highly recommend.

We ordered enough food for two people. A burger, some cheese bites, and two fries and two drinks. Which was $35. It took 20 minutes after we ordered for the burger and cheese bites to come out. And then we waited another 20 minutes for our fries to come out. It took 40 minutes to get our fries and we were done eating everything else when they came out. Not to mention they messed up one order of fries after it taking 40 minutes to make them. So to spend $35 on a small amount of food and it come out at different times and your fries come out 40 minutes after your order is crazy to me. Not to mention it was dirty in there, the floors were sticky and one of the workers had a hickey on his neck. Wouldn’t recommend going unless you want to spend more than you should on frozen burgers and fries that come out 40 minutes after you order while feeling your shoes become one with the sticky floor.

We ordered our food. They brought it out. My husband did not get his sandwich. Woman that brought out the food said she’d check on it. After 20 more minutes he went to check. She had not said anything to cook. Waited another 30 minutes or so and had to go up front to get it.

After yet another disappointing experience back to back, sadly we will not return. My husband has been a customer for 40 years, and he said no more. Four months ago we dined in and it took literally an hour to get food. And then the order was not complete. The lady said she would bring the rest of it right out. 20 minutes later no food. My husband went to the counter to ask and he was basically accused of lying. They said they sent the food out. But they made it again. Fast-forward to tonight, we ordered at the counter for dine in. One hour 15 minutes later after seeing someone else get their food who just walked in 20 minutes ago, my husband went to the counter to ask. He was handed a takeout bag with our food in it that had been sitting there for an hour. No apologies, no offer to remake the food. Horrible, horrible customer service the last two times. And I don’t see it getting any better. It is definitely not the Marvins we are used to, it has changed drastically in at least the last six months and probably more toward one year. It has not been the same. I definitely do not recommend it.

Great hole in the wall diner. Fod was awesome. People were great. Just needs a good update. From top to bottom. No sign outside to let people know they exist. Looks like the school office or library.
We ordered supper and when we got it home the chicken strips were not golden brown , they were dark brown- the fries were so crisp they were hard. $60.00 spent and we are so disappointed

I've always gotten the GCB and it's always on point this last time we went. We changed it up and got wet burritos, and I'll tell you what they were just delicious.
Been dining here for 15 years. Consistent quality, delicious food always but my go to is the GCB and cheese fries! Friendly staff, good vibes — highly recommend to anyone coming through Greencastle!

It’s been probably 35 to 40 years since I’ve been to Marvin’s. I couldn’t wait to go back, now I wish it would have been longer. The hamburger was as thin as a sandwich steak and as dry as shoe leather, I can remember it being juicy and very flavorful, but it has been a lot of years. The cheese fries had that cheese you get out of a can from gfs I’m sure. It wasn’t good. For the price for two that we payed 35.00 roughly. This experience can wait oh till never. For future reference an employee or owners son maybe should not be allowed to walk in off the street with his girlfriend and he walks behind the counter and rings up his own order with out even washing his hands or doing anything to sanitize them on a register that a employee working her butt off is using too take orders and fill them. Just wrong. If I would have seen this prior to ordering I would have walked out maybe even prior to getting food. Sorry Marvin’s
