Storie's Restaurant Reviews

Was there for 3 hours….. ordered food at 10:45, did not get our food till 12:20. Didn’t offer us anything but offered others that had to wait pie or discounts.. $65 wasted.

Storie's Restaurant is a great dining option for both small and large groups. The service is commendable, with staff going above and beyond to accommodate the needs of all customers. The menu offers a variety of options, such as loaded fries, Cuban sandwiches, mashed potatoes, and daily specials. The portions are generous, and the food is delicious, particularly the macaroni salad and pies. The restaurant has a cool and vintage atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for various occasions. It is a true small-town diner, where customers come for the memories and community spirit that Stories has to offer. The ambiance is that of an old midwestern town diner, and it is very clean. Parking is convenient, with handicapped spots available in the lot and ample space across the street, especially behind the building with a back entrance. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. Customers have praised the excellent food and friendly staff, recommending dishes like the Big Tenderloin and Alaska Whitefish sandwiches, which are very good. The staff is known to be super friendly and helpful. The big pork tenderloin sandwich is adored and very big. The breakfast of bacon, eggs, potatoes, biscuits, and gravy is enjoyed, with the coffee being the best. The homemade pies are awesome, especially the Butterscotch. The pot roast, dressing, and green beans are also good. The restaurant serves hometown food and has small town country service.
