La Trattoria is an amazing restaurant. We have been coming here for over 20 years. It has one of, if not the best filet in all of Indiana. We always have great service and the food never disappoints. I cannot recommend this place enough.
The service was very good, but the food was lacking. The appetizer was a potato dish that was under cooked with little flavor. We had a party of four, two had chicken dishes. They were both dry, and over cooked. Two of are party ordered fillet, and both felt the steaks were lower quality for a fillet of this price. The food was very average at a premium price point. Always love La Trattoria. The steaks are amazing. Get the escargot and the mushroom appetizers. You will not be disappointed. They do not take reservations, so get there early. Parking can be a thing too later in the evening.
