Huckaby's Smokehouse BBQ Steaks & Sweets

The owners and staff are great people, the food tastes amazing and the prices are great too. If you've never been to Huckaby's before, I highly recommend you checking it out! If I may add a suggestion, try their pulled pork sandwiches, mac n cheese & corn casserole. they're really good. those are my personal favorite items to get.

LOVED it!! The amount of gluten free options is truly remarkable (gluten free because I have to be, not by choice) and the food tasted wonderful on top of it! The fried chicken was crispy, gravy was super flavorful, and it was probably my favorite coleslaw I’ve ever had. Portion size is great, especially when you’re used to paying extra for a smaller portion because it’s gluten free. My meal was a normal size, at a good price, and quality was ON POINT.

if you like really tough dry and inedible meat with mediocre sides this is the place for you and don't be fooled they are also Wattle's on door dash, I would not have ordered today had I known as now have thrown away 160 dollars worth of food from them

Where do I start? We show up, after tall skinny kid, wearing a UAW shirt was on his phone. We had Fox59 coupons, worth $50.00. After our order totalled $44.00, we weren't informed of that. He took our coupons and tore them up. He then left and my wife figured out that our bill was $44.00 and change. We weren't told that we hadn't spent $50.00 dollars worth of our coupons. Like I said he took vouchers and tore them up. We then confronted him on the charges while he was playing on phone. He hadn't even placed our order with cooking staff, and this was at least 15 minutes after we arrived. After ordering 2 pieces of pie to get to our $50.00 voucher. We waited another 10 minutes before receiving our order. Potatoes were cold, and coleslaw was horrible. Lots of fat had to be cut off meat, to be edible!!!Two people actually ordered and received take out orders before we were served our food! And there was only 1 other couple in restaurant at the time. A small space heater was on the floor that was expected to heat the restaurant and it didn't. The place was very cold and uncomfortable. We definitely won't be back and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! Fox59, you let us down with this place. Kid running register with pro union sweatshirt on, needs to learn what customer service is, and stay the hell off his phone!!!

We ordered food for our family Christmas party. I was very impressed from the start of the whole process. I called in our order and was treated respectfully and very easy process. When we picked up the food it’s was all ready on time. Everyone in the store was very helpful and polite. Now for the food. Everybody loved it. We had brisket, chicken, pork and fried chicken. Our sides were baked beans, coleslaw, cheddar mac&cheese. Everything was Delicious with no complaints. We definitely use them again and dine there also. If you want great food with great service, we all strongly recommend them!

I wasn't going to leave this review until I saw a large man in a black shirt behind the counter licking 2 fingers while cooking. Absolutely disgusting. Meat was all fat. $50 is a lot of money to risk getting sick.

I'm not quite sure where you learned food handling skills as an owner of a restaurant. I'm sure customers aren't asking you to use a fork...but licking fingers after taste testing on the line where food is prepared isn't recommended anywhere that I know of. That's what break rooms, back rooms, or even a bathroom is for. So you can wash your hands after you are done licking.

This place puts Smokey Bones and City BBQ to shame! This was some of the best bbq I've had in a long time. I had the pulled chicken, greens, and baked beans. My husband had the ham, mac and cheese, and greens. It was all SO good. The server was a sweet heart, and the food came out fast and hot. Highly recommend!

Don't trust this place to cater your wedding. The first time we went in to try food whoever scheduled us put our date down wrong, so we couldn't try the food we wanted. We went back to try appetizers and they told us 15 minutes prior to pickup time that they wouldn't be able to do it, even though we were already there. On our wedding day we expected crumb crusted chicken and it showed up with NONE! They brought the wrong alcohol and over charged all of our guests. The bartenders were too busy on their phones and sitting down to help our guests and when they did they treated our guest as an inconvenience. The bartenders signed our expensive guest book that will now have to be taken apart to fish out their names. When we tried to talk to Chip about the issues he became argumentative instead of apologetic. Worst choice in catering and AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!

We have tried and tried returning due to needing gluten free options but always disappointed. Service is horrible- try getting a drink refill. They seem to take so many cost saving measures they risk getting diners ill. Usually some one in our party would get "ill" after we ate there.

Catered meal for our company and all employees felt as if Au gratin potato cheese was from a concession stand nacho cheese can. Peach Cobbler was definitely canned peaches with Granola sprinkled on top. Collard Greens were canned......Mashed potatoes were good! Only go here for the Mash Potatoes.

We purchased a $50 gift certificate on Fox 59 for $25.
Trust me we brought home 4 to go boxes full of food. Great bbq and sides, but don't get in a hurry. Food this good takes time! The only thing it needs is some ambiance like maybe me playing my guitar in a corner of the dining room.
