My wife and I visit 2-3 times a month, never disappointed. Have never had a bad meal there and our waitress Glenda is super. Fav is the omelettes "huge" you can get 3 meals out of them. Service is always fast and we always give a good tip. Don't change a thing!
While in Fort Wayne for a doctor appointment, we decided to find a restaurant nearby for breakfast. Found Lakeside Cafe during a google search and was not disappointed. The restaurant features breakfast and lunch. Many selections to choose from, but we opted for the standard egg plate with hash browns, meat and pancakes. All for $5.99. The portions were huge and each came with 4 pieces of bacon. One plate would have fed both of us - we had 4 breakfasts just buying 2 selections....
We went in for dinner at 6:30 on a Friday night & they were out of steaks, brisket and a few other items. We chose tenderloin sandwiches which neither of us liked, it was flavor/breading we didn't care for. The spicy pickles were very good & for 7.00 the serving was a heaping dinner plate. They weren't spicy but were the best we've had. Service was excellent and we would eat there again. Nice place, very clean & friendly. Parking is not the best especially...
