“Have had breakfast and lunch here. Really good breakfast. Had cornbeef hash with over easy eggs and American fries.Eggs cooked perfect hash was good and not greasy. The potatoes were also good and not greasy. The other breakfast was ham steak and sunny side up eggs also done perfect. The ham steak was huge, took 2/3 home and had for lunch. This place used to be called down and under. It is open 6 till 2 closed on wednesday.Parking: Gravel parking areas in 2 places.”

“I LOVE DONUTS. They are my absolute favorite "sweets"and I have been to many donut shops. I started going here 1or 2 times a month for the past 9 years. I give 5 stars on everything. I also feel their price increases over that time period have been very fair, especially with what has gone on during that time. I was "treated" to Voodoo donuts once and was shocked at the price for the quality of the product. At best they were fancy Dunkin Donuts at 4x's the price. If anybody reading this wants to experience a fresh delicious donut at a reasonable price this is the place to go. I have always been treated with courtesy and kindness.”

“I had a patty melt and it was delicious. Potato wedges were hot and crispy, but not overly done. Server, Ashley, was outstanding. Knew the menu and was informative about what was out and what went with what. She was very helpful, and on top of everything. Highly recommend this place.”

“Tbh I grew up in this town and never frequented this place until the past few months and I have to admit it’s one of the funnest down to earth places I’ve been in a long time and I’ve lived in bigger cities like Indianapolis and Lafayette . I’ll tell you this I can’t tell you a place within 50 miles that will compare in any way , and it’s not even about the drinking . Playing pool and darts here is fun but the people themselves are what’s most appealing, down to earth genuine people who are just out enjoying time away from responsibilities and work , give this place a try and you won’t be disappointed!!!”

“I had the Cheeseburger and fries with a side of onion rings. The burger was excellent and the fries were the kind I like. So major win for a burger and fries. The burger was large and tasty with an ample amount of fried potato sticks. The onion rings were spot on for the cook and taste. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a really good burger, and I think it's better than that Five fellas place.”

“Food is decent, typical diner food. We were the only customers at 1pm on a Saturday. $56 for 2 adults and 1 child to eat basic breakfast no extras. Service was just okay, waitress asked twice if we wanted coffee refills (yes we did) but never actually refilled; was busy chatting with the other employee.”

“Friday night fish. This was our first time but not the last. I had Walleye....huge portion, excellent taste, good potato salad, and fast service. My wife had the pollack and also had leftovers. No need to look for AYCE fish with portion sizes like this!”

“Really good prices, open Mic night on Mondays plus dollar beers, and a DJ on the weekend. Harry is the best bartender in the place. It's not uncommon to see a fight in the place on a weekend when it gets close to closing time though so sneak out before then if possible!”

I got a medium mushroom with extra cheese and I don’t normally eat a lot but I almost finished that pizza to myself! The service was great and staff was very friendly! The fish we ordered was excellent, perfectly cooked and flavorful. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making the entire experience enjoyable. “Sadly didn’t know this place was here until I was in the Knox mall checking times for Back to Basics . With that being said I’ve always felt Knox needed more places for family and individuals to go and have a good time without needing to take out a small loan ?I’ll add more pictures soon but aside from the Ice cream parlor , an arcade type room will be directly beside it. I believe the official opening date is mid to late march but I look forward to taking mh niece and nephews to a local establishment.If there’s anything else I can add feel free to mention it ! If you’re in the area and are looking for a casual evening /night out , whether you have children or alone, this place should be on your to do list .”

“Pizza wasn’t very good this time .The French fries and the chicken and mozzarella sticks tasted like they were cooked in old oil . I normally have a good experience but this time not so good and for 62 dollars I was pretty upset . Not sure if I can try it again , had to go back out and get my daughter something else bc she couldn’t eat the food”
