I’ve loved Barton’s since I was a child ! It’s always been my #1, go to pizza place. The staff is kind and friendly. The food is 10/10. Unlike other pizza owners in the area, they owners are humble and far from snobby. If you’re looking for the best pizza place, Barton’s has it !

Pizza SNOB here. I faithfully bought my pizzas @ Raydee Magoo's @ Hobart for a decade until they started getting lazy and producing inconsistent pies. Driving to Hammond allowed me to find this Pizza which is a pie I literally can find no criticisms on. Bronkos Crown Point was both of these place's predecessors but again inconsistent, change of owners, etc. This same guy appears to have owned the joint for years. Their Oven is ancient looking! (WHICH IS A GOOD THING IN PIZZA WORLD) I have tried almost every pizza joint in Northwest Indiana. This place has the best pie, and no one among my more eastern NWI friends make the drive to come out. It is an unknown hole in the wall except to locals. This is the best pizza current to date. Jumbo feeds a Hungry Family, unless I am in the family. :0

Very Rude. Asked them to make my pizza at a certain time to be made because another person was to pick it up after they left work. But I was not sure when they would pick up the pizza’s and I didn’t want my pizza’s sitting on the oven for to long, so I asked a young male there to make my pizzas last minute, which was at 6pm so it gives more then enough time for the other to pick my pizzas up fresh out the oven. The worker made a big issue about it and was snotty about making my pizzas at a specific time and told me they will have my pizzas ready by 6pm, I told him that’s not what I asked you. I said I don’t know exactly when the other person I had come to pick up my pizzas would come. The young worker had to have another response, he said the pizzas will be ready around that time. I don’t see the problem with what I asked them to do and I talked to the manager who was just as snotty as the worker. Well the person I had sent to get my pizzas decided to leave earlier from there work to get to the pizza place, which they arrived and asked for the pizzas at 6:08pm to see if the pizzas were laying on the oven or still in the oven as it should have been like the manager said. But I get a call that my pizzas were already ready and on the oven and when they opened one of the pizzas to feel and see if it had been sitting awhile & just what I asked the manager what not to do, they did. I will never order from this place again. Its sad a pizza that I ordered and loved my whole life has people working for them that can give two shi@s and can easily disregard a simple request. Those workers did that on purpose because a simple request is to hard for them to follow thru with & me expressing my want not in a disrespectful way but a firm and respectful way was to much for them to handle.

I've been living in Hammond about a year now and been looking for good pasta and pizza place. Reviews were good. So I tried. My tater tots were over cooked and if this a large Mostaccioli is hate to see the small. I'd asked for 2 orders of tots but got one cause he didn't hear me. Got home and no salad . When I called he said I forgot it and then mentioned the tots and he said he didn't hear me say 2 orders of tots. Hopefully the food tastes good.

Found this place on a whim, and it was worth it! I purchased 2 slices of the cheese and sausage. It was made to order. The wait was less than 15 minutes and the cost was less than $10. I noticed while waiting lots of people were picking up their orders and people coming in to place an order. That's a sign that they serve great food there beside s pizza. I would go back again.

Service was good, pizza wasn’t as good as the rating suggests.

They probably know me by name! I have been coming to Barton’s for as long as I can remember! I started with the one in Griffith but I moved to the Chicagoland area (Tinley Park) so I have been coming to the Hammond location for well over 10 years now. This place is AMAZING! Some of the best pizza I have had! If you particularly enjoy the crumbled sausage you will love this place even more! I’ve had everything on the menu at least one time and I can’t complain about anything! My absolute favorites are the double neo (that is double everything from meat cheese sauce and dough) or the thin crust. Not to mention the prices are unbeatable! I don’t know of any other quality pizza joint with prices as cheap as Barton’s!
