Carnitas And Taqueria Michoacan #2

I was just there about 1hr ago and the food was great and service was excellent but I will say there was a few customers that need to chill out. Great place this ain’t no fast food restaurant it takes time to cook food it’s not microwaved.

My son and I went to try this since I saw someone posted it on Facebook. The food was very good. The service however not so much. Don't get me wrong they were friendly however it took a long time once we ordered to receive our food and after we received our food no one came to check on us. They did apologize for the wait but it took almost 45 minutes for 1 lb of carnitas, a side of small rice and a small fry. There were many people who came in ordered their food and left before we even got ours so I'm not sure why ours took so long. I will give them another chance though.

The food is DELICIOUS ? THE BEST CARNITAS EVER ???

I just discovered that this place's carnitas are the same as this one place in chicago. They are very tasty and delicious, because of this I don't have to travel far away for the same quality and savory. I really recomend this place. I don't know about the service because I just picked them up but overall its a good five stars.

I had the carnitas and cueritos (skins) on homemade corn tortillas with cilantro and onions. They were AMAZING! Beans and rice were good too but I wanted tacos!! Friendly staff and great prices. They served me fried chicharrones instead of chips and salsa which was fantastic. I have found the hidden gem of Hammond!
