After having a disappointing experience at another restaurant, we called Casa De Luz to see if they could accommodate our party of 13. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed.
The service was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and efficient. We had no issues with seating, and our orders were taken promptly without feeling rushed. The food? Absolutely amazing! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their dishes.
On top of the great food and service, the prices were very reasonable, making the entire experience even better. We couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable dining experience. If you’re looking for a place that values its customers and serves fantastic food, Casa De Luz is the place to go! We’ll definitely be back!

I showed up at this restaurant with a friend of mine a week ago and apparently the food didn't agree with him so he had a bathroom emergency. I didn't have the same issues. I'm very humiliated and embarrassed because I decided to try them again with my 9 year old nephew and the staff was very rude to me in front of him. I was told my friend made a mess (which had nothing to do with me) and I wasn't allowed there anymore. I was so embarrassed with the whole experience. Its a restaurant that serves food and sometimes it doesn't agree with you but to call a customer out and tell them they aren't allowed there anymore is a testament of what kind of staff they have. I hope to never have to experience that in a restaurant anymore.

I was really excited to try a new place for ramen birria . They give me this ? 2 pieces of meat Basura . Recommend Chelas Birra 10000 times better money to the trash ! Also the girl answering phone here was extremely rude and hung up on me when asking a question ! Don’t like to work then. Don’t get a job ! Never again

Pambazos are great, chorizo with papas as they are supposed to be. My wife tried the enchiladas, taste wise very good, they were a little bit on the dry side but maybe is the Jalisco style.

I placed an order through DoorDash and the food arrived horribly. My order of quesabirrias was completely trashed and not even enough for a container. They put them on a cardboard plate and wrapped them in plastic. I ordered masa quesadillas and they were still ruined. It is a place that I definitely do not recommend. If you can't afford to buy containers for food, it's better to raise your prices even if it's just a little.

Authentic Mexican restaurant close to Chicago. The tacos were fresh and super delicious! They also came along with 4 different types of salsas to try. Great variety of selections on the menu and I will definitely come back next time I'm in town. If you're in the area you should make it a point to stop by, you won't be disappointed.
