This is located inside the Hammond South Shore Train station. It's run by two people who seem very nice, but every morning they play the same repetitive, monotonous, techno(?) music over. And over. And over. Frankly, it keeps me in my vehicle most of the time so my eardrums don't have to be assaulted by it.

Station house locked up @7:45pm SHARP, & I saw cop doing that right as I was dropped off. So either use the ATM north of the tracks, or buy roundtrip from TVM @station you are coming from to here.

Concession stand sketchy. Counter guy complained to lady beside me when I asked for a napkin. Twice, I've seen him use the bathroom and you could not hear the hand dryer. Would not buy from him.

Parking lot fills up around 7:30, especially Tues-Thurs. Come early in the snow, as the lot gets crowded after plowing takes up spaces. Check website for delays in the cold.

Wishes the station stayed open later. When I came out Friday they were closed.
This place closes way to early.
Restrooms available only when concession stand is open... That's lame.
Train is never late so be either early or on time.
