Great Beer & Wonderful Owner / Staff! Probably the best beer brewed in NW Indiana. Cheers!

Second time here. No one greeted us as we walked in. We sat down and no one approached us or anything. After about 5 mins, I even tried to waive the lady and man down, they looked like they actively tried to ignore me and my table. They said we only order at the bar and when we wanted to sample a new drink they added, I literally had to share a sample around the table.

The drinks are good but the service is really lacking. Not to mention at 9:30 there was a couple trying to get in and the man had to walk to the door and unlock it.

The door for the outside was locked and the lady had to unlock it for us. The whole vibe was like we weren't wanted.

The first time I went there was a different lady(Latina) that came to the table and was helpful and nice. I only ordered two drinks because honestly I was so disappointed with the place,I didn't want to spend more there. AFTER, I had bragged about it to the the people I showed up with, they were surprised at how uninviting the place felt.

You cannot find better people or better beer than Mike and his crew at Foreign Local. Amazing beer, great food pop ups and guest chefs, and the friendliest staff and atmosphere anywhere, and they are dog friendly, just ask my dog Marley about her favorite bartender Chastity. Mike the owner walks his talk supporting the community too. Come out and support a small business that offers a superior product, staff, and atmosphere: Foreign Local in Hammond.

So we show up right before 3. Says 3 on google and the website. Hits about 3 and 2 people come out. 1 drives out, and the other locks a door behind her. Small waves before she gets in her truck sits for a bit and leaves. So when do you open? Why couldn't you come to the 2 cars waiting for you to open and say something? Just horrible business practices. I have been to over 2500 breweries and have never seen this behavior before.

We love this brewery! Always amazing beer. We recently had a surprise party for my husband and they worked with me on reserving tables and helping plan a menu with a local food truck they work with. It was a great time!

Service was top notch. Chastity was helpful and efficient and made us feel so welcome. We hadn't been out in a while, and wanted to try out some of the new places in our hometown. Glad we chose this place bc it will be a staple every time we come back.

Enjoyed my visit here. I tried one of their sours and it was great. It's a small spot, but there's plenty of seating. The bartender was nice, and she made some great recommendations. I recommend if you are looking for a brewery to try

This is a nice quaint place with its own take on craft beers. I'm not a beer drinker by no means but I liked their sour and fruity take on beers. I sampled the blueberry cheesecake and fruity pebbles which were really nice. I loved that they feature local food establishments; they featured Belly Dawgs and we tried the steelworker sandwich and it was amazing!The only bad thing I'll say about my experience was the service wasn't good nor did they acknowledge us upon our arrival. We sat around the table for 5 mins and had to walk up to the bar and ask questions before anyone noticed us. I'll definitely give this place another chance.
