The food was delicious. It took a hour to get our food. It was only 2 of us. There were other people that ordered nearly the same thing, but got their food 30 minutes faster than we did. I was very disappointed in that place. Because of that I will never visit that establishment again.
I guess like every other business these days they're short of staff. The matre'd was rude, waitress pleasant but had wayyyy too many tables to take care of and it took 45 minutes to get our food. We had a concert to attend and by the time we got our food i just had them wrap it up so i never ate main course. 2nd time this happened. If you don't have enough staff, quit taking all those reservations. Absolutely ridiculous!!!
The overall experience was a disappointment. We had reservations and were promptly seated. Warm bread was a nice start but then we waited a very long time for everything else. It took too long for water, drinks, and food. My husband received his cocktail after about twenty minutes and my drink order came out wrong, I then waited about fifteen more minutes for my correct drink only to be told they ran out of what I ordered. My husband's food order was given to the wrong table so I received my food and he had to wait more time. The service was subpar at best. We watched as food was brought out but they did not know which table ordered what. Several times they tried to give us someone else's order. Surprisingly the food tasted good but the service needs much improvement.
If I could give zero stars, I would. We made the unfortunate mistake of coming here during what they called an “event night” - apparently code for utter chaos. We waited 1 hour and 40 minutes for a steak. Not a tomahawk. Not a 96 oz Flintstones special. Just... a regular 6oz steak. When it finally limped out of the kitchen, it was luke warm at best - as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for 45 minutes trying to remember what it once was. Oh, and the lobster tail we ordered? Completely forgotten. When we brought this to the manager's attention, we weren't even met with an apology. Instead, we were told - and I quote - “an hour-plus is a standard wait time for steaks.” Really? I've slow-cooked brisket in less time. The only redeeming quality of the meal? The mac and cheese. And that's saying something, because I didn't come here for a bowl of noodles and disappointment. Save yourself the frustration and go literally anywhere else. Or just microwave something at home. It'll be hotter and arrive faster.
It was first eating at this restaurant. Overall a good experience and I would dine there again. It appears we set the right time for reservations, as they the place got pretty busy quickly after 6pm on Saturday. Overall no complaints. Friendly staff and the food was pretty good.
Always an awesome experience. The server was very pleasant but I think she was too busy. I'm used to the server packaging the left over food. We were told that they don't package the leftovers anymore. Overall we were pleased with the food and the service.
Service was very slow at the bar and the table. The view was nice but the restaurant could use update. The menu was small and for the prices more should be included.
Food and service excellent. Rib eye steak tender and grilled rare perfect. Twin lobster tails cooked perfect to be tender. Sides are large to be shared. Seasoning touches overall upscale. Pricing matches the upscale food.
Overall great places but when I went on Father's Day Sunday 2025 the escalator was closed and I had to walk up two flights of stairs but other than that it was fine.
We always enjoy dinner at Jack Binion's. The food and drinks are delicious, along with a pretty view of the lake. The salmon is outstanding and the sides can easily be shared. We've dined there many times and have never been disappointed.

Disappointing for the prices you pay. We each had a 6 oz filet (mine was.substantially smaller than my wife's), requesting one medium rare, one medium (pink) We got one extremely rare (blue/cold/raw in the middle) and one that was medium well (no pink in the middle..almost.well done) Due to being in a hurry to catch the show, we ate quickly and didnt have time to have them correct the steaks unfortunately. Had to request bread and butter. All other tables had it brought tp them early. Also the marinated onion and mushroom bearnaise crusting is just a spot of butter with some onions and mushrooms. Overall, disappointing time...Doris our aerver was nice and apologetic but it really wasn't her fault. The cooks/chefs messed up.
Reservation only, but still took an extra 20min to get seated even after checking in early. Service was SLOW. Four drinks, one a diet soda, took over an hour. The cesar salad came out quickly, still no drinks. Dinner arrived first, then drinks...Disappointing as we were there to see a show after and had to rush to the theater from dinner. Food was good.
The drinks were weak, the service was poor, I asked for a rare steak & got well done- also , the restaurant menu undoubtedly has NO OPTIONS for a Vegan guest. I asked for a peppercorn crust with sauce berniase & got NOTHING. The food was not bad, just VERY LATE & generally NOT HOW WE ORDERED IT!! The waitress was cordial, but seemed to be completely overwhelmed. When I received the well done steak, I specifically asked her what temperature I ordered, & she couldn't tell me. In truth, what true steak lover actually wants a well done steak? The ambiance is poor, with the table chairs, & booth coverings old & worn. We will not be returning.
My husband and I made reservations over a month ago because we were coming into town to see a comedian. Our serve was Olga and our experience was just awful. The service was super slow, and our server was provided terrible service! We ordered drinks, I got the expresso drink and my husband ordered something that resembled a mule. We waited 27 minutes for our drinks! If the restaurant was packed, I would understand, but there were many open tables by us. My husband ordered the New York strip with Mac & cheese and I ordered the baked chicken with potatoes and broccoli. My potatoes were burnt and so was my chicken! I'm not one to say anything, but I can't believe it left the kitchen looking the way it did! Olga never came to check in on us. Our drink glasses were empty and when she finally did come to the table, she never asked if we wanted another drink! We had to mention it to her that we wanted another! This is service 101 and she failed! We did receive our drinks in 17 minutes this time, so a little quicker than before. We asked Olga to see the dessert menu and she obviously forgot. She came to drop off our check and then asked if we were interested in dessert. I said no, we had to leave for a show!! My husband and I talked about how bad everything was and how we would never come back!
What a great experience. Michelle the hostess greeted us with a smile and immediately had us seated. Abraham poured us waters and served us bread quickly and took our orders. Tonight being a non venue show night. Food was out fairly quick. ( show nights they are busy and food does take longer) the manager Dawn stopped and checked on our meals. Which were delicious! Just a FYI, they occasionally have lobster mac n cheese. When they have it order it! Its most likely the best you will ever eat! Patrick the chef has the magic recipe! Jose thank you for stopping by the table to say hi. The service team at Jack Binions is absolutely hands down the best! Its just not food, its an experience with a view! Sit back relax and enjoy the full experience.
