Had to wait 20 minutes for my chicken but I got home and it was screaming hot still nice and crispy the hush puppies were awesome definitely a must stop i with definitely be back!

Made this a stop on our trip. We obviously stopped at the wrong JJ fish. We ordered fish and 3 wings. I will skip to the food because everything else; atmosphere, environment, and seating was not for a family who wanted to sit and eat. The fish crust was well seasoned but the fish itself was watery in the center and the wings were not seasoned. I think we should have stopped at one of the other 2.

Food was horrible catfish nuggets were dried out food looked and tasted like it was made earlier in morning n re-dropped skinny cook was rude and had an attitude because he sold me bad food I highly do not recommend go elsewhere

They Sold me old fish that seemed like it was cooked hours ago but dropped in grease again to reheat. They gave me attitudes like I’m lying. No refund, no exchange so im leaving a review

Haven’t been here in a very long time, 4 wings & fries. Was informed of the 20 min wait, no problem. The chicken was hot and cooked to perfection.

Jj fish on Indianapolis blv 7843 is so good they change their oil every night the wings are always fresh the cat steak 🥩 pieces are nice size the fries are fresh and come with everything . They make great sandwiches. 🥪
Generous with sauce the workers are nice polite . It’s always clean in there . Nice restaurant

The food here used to be SO good and now it's HORRIBLE. I recently ordered TWENTY chicken wings and they tasted like they were cooked in fish grease! I tried the fries and same thing, but they actually tasted worse than the chicken! All I could taste was fish grease! The JJ's on Indianapolis (by White Castle) is way better and the food is always fresh and the prices on some of the items are actually lower. I go to the one on Calumet because it's closer, but now I'll either go to Sharks or I'll just go to the JJ's on Indianapolis. Plus the one on Indianapolis has better prices. Another complaint that I have is when I order 20 wings, they barely give you enough fries so you have to order an extra side of fries, but when I order an extra side of fries, they miraculously add enough fries in the container that I didn't need the extra order. If a person orders 10 or more wings, there should be enough fries without having to order more! I've ordered hot peppers which are 2 for $1.50. The lady gave me ONE pepper and when I called she said yeah I only gave you one - WTH. The peppers at the JJ's on Indianapolis are 3 for $1!!!
