Been here multiple times over the years. Every bit of food you get here is hit or miss lunch is okay.. breakfast always briwn eggs even after specifically asking NOT TO BE BROWN. mediocre taste chewy bacon.. SERVICE bunch of loud mouth older ladies .. it's cool at times but no filter .. constant drama .. they don't mind spreading restraunt gossip to customers.. Old lady at the front .. assuming manager .. will do nothing if you complain.. she puts off really bad vibes.. THIS PLACE is mediocre at best generic tasting food made with literally zero care..

The food and service always fantastic. I love the breaded veal, beef liver and stuffed cabbage. Good sized portions at a good price. Seniors don't forget to ask for the senior discount. To go orders are always packaged nicely. No spill overs.

It was my first time going into this place because the food looked good from the photos. But the service wasn’t it. They sat us down and gave us paper menus that was all over the place.. we never had anyone come us to us asking us if we needed anything or even take our orders for drinks.. a family of three came in right after us and their order was taken and we were still ignored. Whoever Cristina is, is a horrible waitress. Because when we were taken to our seats they said she will be our waiter and never seen her or greeted by her. We waited for 15 mins or more before we decided to get up and leave. The two ladies at the front desk didn’t even care like they are used to people walking out.

My first time there and never coming back. Got seated but never got greeted by a waitress. Not like the place was packed. There was a few families but plenty of empty tables everywhere i turned. Was in here for 15 mins and nobody ever came to take my order. A family of 3 came and got seated next to us and within 3 mins they had their orders taken and drinks on their table. Im only giving them a 1 star cause thats the lowest rating allowed.
The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing and the prices are affordable and you get a good meal and a good amount of food! Why spend 20.00 at McDonald's when you can get a more filling meal at Johnel's and for half the price?! I love this restaurant. And the atmosphere is so comforting, like Grandma's home. Lol

This place has fallen off a cliff. I don't know what's happened, but it's definitely not the same. Used to be a great, affordable family restaurant, and it's being run into the ground. Not sure if the management or ownership has changed, but someone better do something before Johnel's goes away.
