Far from the madding crowd of Chicago, we hit this restaurant on our way out of Chicago back to Pennsylvania. It was nice not to have to fight traffic/ parking in Chicago. And the food was excellent. I would highly recommend it if you're making an early break from the Windy City!

Nice little old school restaurant. Friendly service, menu has wide variety. Oddly enough, I can’t remember what I ordered, but my friend’s liver and onions was absolutely the best I’d ever had outside my mom’s kitchen. Johnel’s got skills lol

What's a little pricey. The food was really good. Would have gave him five stars but the wait staff was horrible. Your order onion rings and they bring them then they disappear for 30 minutes without bringing you any ketchup or anything was there about an hour she never came to see if we needed refills or anything

Wheelchair accessibility: Reasonably accessible. No auto door openers, restroom abomination m accommodation needs general improvement

The old lady waitress with the long Grey ponytail is very rude, nosey and argumentative she purposely comes up and starts cleaning tables that's already been cleaned and eavesdrop on your conversation then offers her opinion which nobody asked her for. And she wasn't even the waitress that waited on us. She has done this on another occasion

Ordered a hamburger. Came with a salad. I chose the garlic dressing. Dressing had no taste to it at all. The hamburger bun was not fresh, a bit on the stale side so I took the burger off it and tossed the bun. The hamburger was hard along the whole outer edge. I tried to cut it with my fork but ended up having to use the butter knife. The fries were good. This was my first time here and was disappointed. Don't think I will be back. Now I think I understand why it was pretty empty for the 6:00 hour. Our waitress was great!
