Great place for breakfast, love their coffee, they serve it with a buñuelo. Their gorditas are great, the menudo has a spicy “just right” flavor. We have gone to the karaoke and it’s typically family gatherings, music is not that great and the micheladas could be better. Overall, it’s a decent place.
The food is very delicious and live music on weekends.

It is a shame that in a few years customer service has changed so much. I used to visit this restaurant often, with my family and friends. I recently returned to Hammond and wanted to remember those times when I came to the Bonfire and they respected me. as a customer and they valued my preference for the restaurant, things have changed a lot since those days, today I called to place an order for breakfast, the young man who answered the phone has no idea of the value that the customer has, I asked him if he had breakfast , he answered yes, to which I asked "what did they have?" (This question is an essential concept to make a purchase of any product) He answered that they had a "LOT OF THINGS" and that if I wanted to know more I should go online and see what they had, I told him that the only thing I wanted was It was to know basic information not details, but his response was "THE NET WE ARE VERY BUSY" I responded that I would go to the restaurant to talk to the owner and he hung up the phone on me! I arrived at the restaurant and very politely asked for the owner. I imagined that the young man who served me was the same young man who answered the phone. I asked him if the owner was there and without saying a word he pointed his finger at a young girl with white skin. who was next to him, the truth is that I don't even know if she was actually the current owner of the place, the fact is that I talked to her explaining my experience with the person who answered me on the phone minutes before, apparently she was already aware because he had an answer for every word I said, at the end of everything he just summarized that he understands my position but that he also understands that his workers are very stressed when there are a lot of people in the restaurant, I responded that if that's the case then they could bringing personal problems from her home and reflecting them towards clients and this makes no sense for any business, she nodded yes, I said goodbye to her in a friendly manner and left through the door of what I, my family and friends once thought was a great place to eat and have a nice time while she saw the back of her once client for the last time!

It is unacceptable to call to order breakfast and the person who answered the call tells me that there are many options and that he cannot tell me what is on the menu and disrespectfully hangs up the phone on me, when I arrive at the restaurant the same owner He only excuses the bad actions of the employees by saying that they are very stressed without valuing the customer without realizing that with these actions he will lose many customers.
