I have eaten the BBQ beef sandwiches from here for years!!! Today just by looking at my sandwich, the meat and sauce were super dark. The meat was SO UNBELIEVABLY DRY!!! I split the sandwich with my dad and he said the same thing. Not good like we have remembered. Makes me rethink coming back after all these years ( at least 35 yrs) of enjoying them. Sad. I used to love them.
This was definetley more an enjoyable experience then the reviews lead me to believe. Now while it seemed that for cold samdwhiches the menu lacked in many items (lettuce onion etc) what they did have was some of the best turkey I have ever had. (I barely ever eat turkey) my only other two gripes arent really something the business can fix but more of just be aware of. The parking was very limited as its mostly street parking and the kitchen was so loud the worker couldnt hear...

There were some toppings I think are missing from the menu (tomatoes/onions), but they likely wouldn't have stayed put on this bad boy, anyway. Awesome place, I will likely be back and add some jalapenos or giardinera to this sandwich.
