First we show up on 7/5 at 5:30 and no one is in sight. Took the server 15 minutes to show up. Then finally place my order for the wayyyyy overpriced food that was super lackluster for how it was described. Then they screwed up 3 out of the 4 orders that were placed. We asked for 2 of the orders. To have very specific ingredients not be in the salads we asked. She just added them anyways. Then she forgot one of the orders and I had to remind her. On top of all that took ages which I don’t mind waiting but the food quality not worth it. Never going to return to this place. Not even sure why it’s advertised as a dining establishment. It’s basic hotel food being advertised as something it isn’t.

I was a bit apprehensive about this property due to its proximity to infamous Gary, IN. Not being a local, I am at the mercy of outside sources. The local gas station has bulletproof glass separating the cashier from the customer...that was a bit off putting. That said, I arrived at the hotel property and from the outside it looks clean and well kept. Inside I was greeted...welcome enthusiastically which was a welcomed treat in this day and age. This is your typical courtyard property and the rooms are clean and fresh. Upon check in I was told that the Bistro is only open for breakfast all while there are signs all over about the Bistro without mentioning that it isn't open at night. Lots of places to eat close by...you won't go hungry!

Pretty disgusting. As you can see in the pictures this place isn't the best. My family had 4 rooms and everyone of them stunk of pee, must or the combination of both. 3 lights in my room were burned out. The air conditioner didn't work. Tv remote didn't work. The carpet was sticky. Not just one spot but all over the room. Toilet half worked too. I wouldn't stay here again. Clean it up

This Courtyard is terribly under-staffed. Per a staff member, The Bistro is permanently closed. And based on the 2 page list of rules that guests must sign-off on before allowed to check-in and the heavy Hammond, IN police presence, this is now a "party" hotel.

I booked this hotel online during our drive from Denver to Boston. Received confirmation e-mail for reservation. Received a second e-mail saying our reservation was moved to the adjacent Fairfield Inn. This hotel is still closed. Checked in at the Fairfield first room had such a strong mold odor we requested a room change. Second room had a smoke smell. We checked out and went to the Hampton Inn across the street. Very disappointed with Marriott to lead us to believe we were staying at the Courtyard.
Their catfish is outstanding, especially the spicy version!!

We recognized as members of the Marriott Bonvoy and assigned an excellent, clean room. Although the facility is adjacent to the expressway, we heard no traffic noise. The staff was friendly, efficient and helpful, including helping us with luggage. The location is easy off/easy on for the expressway.
