Unfortunately, Google does not give you a chance to respond after a business responds to your post, so I had to rewrite it, but my original and their response is in the pictures. I’ll give you the short version. Basically I went in on a weekday (Wednesday October 23 2024, 3:30 pm) amd was informed they were out of subs. 80% of their menu is subs, so I don’t really know what they planned on selling for the next 3 1/2 to 4 hours (They close at 7:00) Maybe hopes and dreams? As you can see through their response, they certainly don’t like criticism or to take ownership for their clear INCOMPETENCE and mismanagement of a restaurant. Another thing that bothers me and I find a little grotesque is the fact they said they were out of subs completely. Which means these subs are not made fresh (Like the place that stood in that same spot for years, yes Hammond people know) I also mentioned the fact, with those kind of business practices, they would be closed by the beginning of the year, meaning exactly the way I wrote it, that come January, their doors would be closed if they kept up those practices. They responded, saying they’ve been there almost two years. I almost found that comical, that they think two years is a pillar of the community. (Look at the place across the street Grub Stop that’s a true pillar and a real name in Hammond) The best part about their response is when they wished me a blessed day, but I have to be honest I don’t think they were being sincere. Lol!!!

Tried this place out for the first time today. I knew before arriving I wanted the smash burger and there were several other menu items I wanted to try too. This is in the old Super Sub space and it was great to enjoy a great meal in an old hang. The smash burger was excellent, my colleague also enjoyed his meal. I look forward to going back and trying their subs.

Came because of 219Ric on instagram. This place is reasonably priced with amazing burgers (smash burgers did not disappoint), a great menu & good service. 2nd time tried the Jim Shoe burger & a banana shake, super flavorful, can’t wait to try more menu items. I just keep coming back to recommend more stuff cause it’s so good. Tried the dorito bomb and that was a sheet pan worth of nachos. Taco Tuesday can’t be beat.

If I could describe this place in one word it would be AMAZING !!! I called in my order and Maria was so nice and informative. When I arrived to the restaurant it had a warm and comfortable vibe. Maria greeted me with a nice big beautiful smile and from that point on I have been treated like family ever since. The food is creative, mouth watering ,and finger licking good. If I could give this place more stars they would get a perfect score of 100. I have been here 4 times so far in the past two weeks and each time the food and service has been top notch . I definitely will recommend this place to any and everyone I know.

I stopped in for lunch on a Monday and ordered the smash burger with fries. I sat and played mortal kombat while I waited for my food (Raiden whooped me, but it was still fun). My order was up within 5-10 minutes, pretty quick.
I took my food back to my office and ate, it was phenomenal. The burger was absolutely delicious and the fries were crispy and tasty. And for $8 and change it was well worth it. I'll definitely be coming back.
I will say the floor in the ordering/dining area was pretty slippery, so watch your step. It could use a good cleaning.
Overall 5/5, can't wait to try other things on the menu.

I walked in and was greeted by the gentleman behind the counter and was taken back by the menu because they have so many options, and everything sounds delicious!! I initially ordered a large rib tip but quickly changed my mind when I saw the gym shoe sandwich sign on the wall. I no longer have to drive to the south side to get this culinary delight!! The veggies, meat ,condiments, and bread were fresh and flavorful with generous portions. I'm definitely going back and getting the rib tips !!
