Went bowling with the family. First time at north side lanes. It was a good price and great atmosphere. It was small so it could possibly get loud but when we were there it wasnt too bad.

The menu is extensive, which makes it a little difficult to choose from all the great options, but there’s something for everyone! I’ve never had anything that I didn’t love! The chef salad is exceptional! But we love the sandwiches and the pizza! You can’t go wrong!

Friendly hometown spot. Large menu with a lot of options. They seem to have a steady group of lunch regulars. Evening hours are inconsistent, I once arrived at 6:30 for dinner and they were already closing down for the night. Food is decent, portions are filling yet not overly large, you may want to add a side. Most of the menu is bar food or variations thereof. Right amount of flavor and spice. Service is quick and reasonably attentive. It's an honest place for a good meal. Atmosphere is a tad disorganized, but it won't ruin your appetite. Full bar though I can't say I've had any adult beverages here.

Food is great, good value. Great service.
But it is an awfully big room with tables and chairs, no booths. The lounge side ceiling is painted black, and it just creates a dark uninviting environment for diners.

Had dinner there with a friend. The food was good. Presented well. The waitress checked on us with good timing.

We live out of town, but every time we come to Hartford City, The Pickle is always part of our itinerary. My husband loves the breaded tenderloin sandwich. Today he got our daughter to eat one as well and she says that’s going to be her go to as well. See you next time Pickle Lounge!
