This place is amazing. The calm atmosphere, friendly staff and great tasting food. I happened to see a TikTok with this location In Hobert and I had to come try it. It’s definitely 10x better than the East Chicago location. 💯% better. You want good Puerto Rican Food Tania’s in Hobert is a must try!!

I seriously could not recommend Tania’s in Hobart more. The food is always great but THE SERVICE is everything!! Last Friday, my husband and I took our toddler for dinner there. Our baby was having a rough time and we decided to just order to go. When the manager heard this, he came over and said no no, don’t leave and sat us in the closed off area so that we could eat and our son could walk around. We ordered the Jibarito and Tania’s sandwich dinner— hot tip- add the garlic sauce to either of the sandwiches, so gooood. It was a very delicious meal.

The staff was very welcoming and was quick with our food. We will definitely bring friends here to try and enjoy together again!
