The Golden Buddha in Howe, Indiana, is a hidden gem! The ambiance is peaceful, and you feel relaxed the moment you step in. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure every detail is perfect. The food is simply phenomenal—full of flavor, fresh ingredients, and beautiful presentation. I especially loved the General Tso Chicken and the Subgum Chicken, which were bursting with authentic flavors. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and experience. Whether you’re new to Authentic Chinese or a longtime fan, The Golden Buddha is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

Took a motorcycle ride with my dad to bloom city and stopped at this spot on the way back. My dad said it was a very busy spot to eat back in the 80s. Egg rolls are amazing, Golden Buddha chow main is BOMB diggity. My father got the shrimp with lobster sauce and it was probably the best I've ever eaten. Very creamy and thick lobster sauce. Sometimes it looks like it's not open but don't worry. It is an it's great priced also.

Half of the menu items are Chinese dishes, which I have never heard of or eaten before. I would want to know what I'm receiving before choosing an item, and the waiter boy with the glasses has no idea what the things on the menu are. The food ratios are insane. The dish is generously portioned, however if you like white rice, you'll be confronted with small ice cream scoop serving sizes that are insufficient to finish the dish. This is how they get you to pay for extra rice and ask if you want to take boxes with you because they know you don't have enough rice to finish the meal.
