We waited 20 minutes to get waited on for drinks. We waited an hour and half for food. People came in 30 mintues after us and got food before us. The wait was terrible. People were just getting up and leaving because they were tired of waiting. We had to get our food in take out boxes and it was cold when we got it.

Myself and five other family members went to Applebee's for supper expecting to have a great experience, however ended up standing at the door for 10 minutes waiting for the hostess to appear even with hardly any customers in store. When host finally got there she looked at us and said Wait a minute I'll be back walked away for about 5 minutes then decided to come back and ask if we would sit at the bar area where we had two kids under the age of 8 years old with us. Us not wanting to set in that area because of the minor children we tell her no we don't want to set by the bar. She stormed off and came back with the manager because we didn't want to sit at the high top tables We told them that we don't want to sit there because we have kids and don't want the kids around the bar. They get crappy with us and manager decides to tell the hostess place them over there in the corner at that table, we just all kind of stand there and look at each other wondering how a hostess or manager for that matter is going to be upset because we don't want minor children down by the bar. So we proceed to follow the hostess to the table where they are seating the six of us just to overhear the waitress that is supposed to be taken care of us popping off because she more or less has a table of six that she has to deal with, finally we hear another waitress say I'll take the table. The lady comes up to us we address our concerns with her and she apologizes on behalf of everybody and how we was being treated and says don't worry I'll take care of you guys. The waitresses name was Tina she was very kind and respectful and more people there could learn from her on how to have great customer service. Our check was almost $150 for everybody to eat without the tip had it not been for Tina being so respectful we was going to get up and walk out of the restaurant but because she was so kind to all of us we chose to stay so I recommend that Applebee's considers checking their employees and maybe giving them a lesson on how to treat customers because they could honestly take a lesson out of Tina's book on great customer service including the manager who still seemed extremely crappy. Had it not been for Tina being so respectful and treating us great from the start they would have lost out on our business for the night. So if you ever go ask for Tina she's a great waitress and really seems to care!

The big cluckin chicken was excellent. Very nice waitress.

Wheelchair accessibility: Flat surface. Easy access on one level. Didn't see automatic HC door buttons.

Food was good but the service was horrible. First the host waited to sit us, she had to get permission to sit us. They were not busy at all only had maybe 5 tables in the whole restaurant. I get servers flirting to get a bigger tip but it’s wrong when she made my husband uncomfortable. He couldn’t wait to leave. The server “Ellie P” was walking by and seen my empty cup on the edge of the table, and just kept walking by. I had to ask her for another refill. Then she started cleaning the window right by me when I was eating. Instead of asking if we want dessert or even boxes she just drops the check off. Definitely would not recommend going here if you want good service.

I tried to call last Friday after to order for, never answered, after an hour of calling, today did the same, no answer! Went to order my food, the bar tender very rude. This restaurant has gone down terribly in the last few years. Probably won't come back. It's noon, lunch time, not very many inside. Most likely because of the food and attitudes . Talk to the manager, he said he would take care of it. Sitting at the bar, didn't say anything, the bar tender, leaned over, said i could go somewhere else! Lmao. I will not be back. Unfortunately the restaurants get the bottom of the barrel of employees, just a good example

I want to start by saying that I NEVER leave bad reviews. EVER. If I have a bad experience I just don't leave a review. I don't really believe in smearing the names of businesses. But this is like the fourth or fifth time that we have ate at Applebee's here in town and they mess up the order by forgetting something or the food is just not up to par like it used to be. First of all, nobody ever comes out when you get carside to go. EVER. I have to go inside every time. Even after I let them know online that I'm there. It was already 15 minutes past my order time and there wasn't a single person parked in any of the other car side to go spots.I had surgery on my foot recently which is why I was hoping someone could come out to the car this time. No big deal. Let it go. We ordered extra sauce for The wonton tacos. Didn't get it. Made sure to get blue cheese with the wings. Didn't get that either. Got ranch instead. The spinach artichoke dip is so salty now my boyfriend couldn't even eat it. And my absolute favorite dish there is the three cheese chicken penne which I get every time. The chicken was so dry it was like hard and crusty and there was like no sauce in it at all. Dry as a bone. Like It had sat in the refrigerator and it came out hours later but yet it was still warm. They seem to be seriously slacking nowadays. It never used to be like this here in town. I really don't recommend. At least for pickup anyways. Maybe if you go inside, the food is better. They just certainly aren't like they used to be. It's really disappointing because it was one of our favorite restaurants to eat at here in town. Sad to say, not so much anymore

I was at Applebees today in Huntington with my 18-year-old granddaughter. When we walked in other people were waiting to be seated. The entire restaurant was empty on one side. An elderly hostess finally showed up to seat the ladies in front of us. She told them she had to clear a table. She then put down the rag she used to clean off the table at the hostess station for us to look at. She then proceeded to tell us all that was open was at the bar section. Of course, we couldn't sit there because of my grandaughter’s age. I told her Applebees has gone downhill. She said someone called off. I can see this restaurant closing in the near future. Would not recommend!!

Just never know what your gonna get at this location. From good to bad we had it all. Always the same excuse on the bad," Short on help" " carry out excessive " " new cooks" wat ever,we pay good hard earned money for a pleasant experience and tend to reflect it in tips.

Parking: It would seem the 'off hours' the best times but have had up and down on quality

The greeter was an elderly lady, and she wasn’t friendly at all. She never said hello or anything. The food wasn’t cooked to order. Will not be going back.
Way overpriced for the food and the service! Will never recommend Huntington Applebees!

Really disappointed by the service and quality of the food. They were busy but not too busy. I ordered bourbon street steak with garlic mashed potatoes. Mashed taters need garlic and to be creamy, these were very dry. Server did not offer refills and never really checked back with me. She never asked me about dessert or appetizers.

Meals were cold steak microwaved wife's dinner sat under warmer she wouldn't eat its hit or miss depending on cook at this location brick house puts this place to shame

Went there tonight, was told we need to wait 16 minutes for a open table.
Half the tables was open and nobody sitting at them.
Another 15 minutes go by after being seated, ordered wife's cocktail and my cola.
Ordered food when the cola got dropped off.
15 minutes later they said the bartender has not started making her oh my mango drink yet.
We said forget the drink if it takes that long about 20 minutes .
Wife said she wouldn't enjoy her meal from that point so we got up and left.
Sorry Apple bees in Huntington it appears you won't let anyone be eating good in the neighborhood.
Went to Mecates had great service
Took 3 minutes to get her drink.
Great food and no waiting for a empty table to free up.
We will not be back here again.

Went for lunch the day after Thanksgiving met family there. The hostess at the door was rude and when I told her we had 6 people she said we are understaffed so u will have to set at the bar. Had to wait for ever to be waited on and then when we ordered it took forever to get our food. The men’s restroom was nasty dirty they turned the music up so loud that we couldn’t hear each other talk. We will not be returning. Very unprofessional! Oh but the one good thing that I do have to say is that the Margarita I drank was wonderful. Our meals were burnt broccoli was undercooked and ribs were burnt. We love the Applebees in Warsaw Indiana very good food and very pleasant atmosphere.

Upon arriving to pick up our food, I requested some A1 sauce for my steak. I was then told I would be charged for it. I asked why? Because this is offered for free at the table when eating in. I asked to speak to the manager and the manager said because it comes complimentary when you order food. I said I did order food. I just ordered my food to go. I was then told I was going to be charged $1.08 for steak sauce. When the waitress attempted to ring it up there was no option to charge for said steak sauce. Poor customer service on the managers side for sure.
