“Recently hosted a funeral dinner for the family there and all were so pleased with the food and the atmosphere! I was told by several that their pasta was “on point!’. And the cake…sooo good! No extra pieces left for sure! I live what thy are doing with this place. It’s a must try for Huntington!”

“What’s to say? This is THE pork tenderloin. The ORIGINAL Hoosier hand breaded recipe from the early 1900s. It all started here. Off the bun and huge. There’s other great stuff and sides on the menu. I usually have the onion rings. There are also some great looking choices on the breakfast menu. I’ve never eaten there for breakfast. Takes 2 plus hours for us to get there and they are also on eastern time. So it’s gotta be the sandwich every time. And then there are the pies are just phenomenally delicious if you have the room for it afterwards. Get a slice to go!! It’s all reasonably priced. Can be very busy at times. Not a fan of the hours closing at 2pm EDT I think I remember them being open later. Take the trip to Nicks.”

“This place is hometown, simple life and good friendly ppl. My Husband's parents loved going here and now we stop when in the area. We arrived and were ask to get seated because she was the ONLY WAITRESS. Np we thought. Julie R. Was so sweet and kind, I felt so sorry for her as she was working with a wounded thumb/ finger, wrist. Again I felt so bad for her. We ordered our drinks, sweet teas. They were just ok. Then we ordered our meals Reuben and fries, and a Patty Melt and Fries. Our food was delivered promptly. And very hot and YUMMYOLA!! I also did notice 3 girls arrived to help Julie out. She ask the one I need help now!! Please. She came out right away to help. The other 2 stood back yaking away, plugging in their cells, looking over there phones, then decided to put on their aprons and get ready to work but not before going back to there cell phones again. Sad I thought ? these other 2 girls were working there butts off, as they played on there cells.. GREAT JOB TO THOSE 2 HARD WORKING GIRLS!!!”

“It’s definitely a dive bar… The best kind of dive bar. The kind where you walk in and you feel like home and everybody knows your name. And if they don’t know you, they will by the end of the night. The food is excellent and now that they’re offering lunch and delivery… It’s Already a staple in Huntington, but now they’re offering their goods countywide.”

“Huntington University dining room now open to the public again. Our group of 4-7 couples like to eat there after church. Nice variety of food. Pizza, breakfast bar, hot food with meat and veggies. Salad bar with soup. Variety of drink. Great dessert bar with breakfast sweets also. Plenty of seating. As we are senior citizens, it is nice to see all the young people! We have been unable to eat there after 2+ years due to covid restrictions.”

“We got three different types of pizza and bread sticks, the sticks tasted like a cloud with butter and went very well with the cheese sauce! Their chicken club pizza is my absolute favorite now! 😍 definitely recommend going!”
