1:15 on Sunday. Sat for 5 minutes before asking if they wait tables or do I order before I sit down. Finally got served and she never came back to check on us. However the food was good and plentiful. The waitress is in the wrong field.

Ordered biscuits & gravy and potatoes & gravy and they were both delicious. Decaf coffee was very good as well, my only disappointment this trip was that they no longer serve half & half, just Coffee-Mate. (So next time I’ll bring my own cream, lol). Great service and reasonable prices made for a wonderful breakfast.
Called ahead to be sure of the hours because we were driving 1.5 hours from out of town to get there (they assured us we would be served) but were turned away as soon as we entered, 45 minutes prior to close, stating they had to close early. Extremely disappointing. Will not be wasting our time to try to come back again....
Friendly service, great pork tenderloin, homemade pie. Do I need to say more? Update: one of my suppliers is headquartered near Nick's. Today he showed up with an entire rhubarb pie. I am the luckiest guy ever and, no, I'm not sharing.

We stopped by Nick’s to try a pork tenderloin sandwich at the very place where it was born, and it did not disappoint! The tenderloin was perfectly cooked: crispy and crunchy on the outside, yet moist and tender on the inside. Nick’s absolutely nails it.
We decided to share the sandwich and also sampled the onion rings, fried mushrooms, and French fries—all golden, fresh, and flavorful. For dessert, we couldn’t resist the pie flight, which that day featured peanut butter, buckeye, and sugar crème pies. Each one was a slice of pure comfort.
The service was warm and friendly, and the food was fantastic. This is one of those meals worth planning a return trip for—I’d gladly give up another precious vacation meal just to eat here again!

Excellent service on an August day at noon when this dinner is packed. We sat at the counter just for the fun of it.
We ordered the full size tenderloin (there is a mini), and regular fries to share. The waitress realized this and offered to cut it in half and serve the toppings on the side. She was paying attention!
The tenderloin was definitely large enough to share and had a nice flavor, both breading and meat.
The sides weren't as great. We found the house cut fries to be limp and pea salad was sweetish, not to my liking.
Overall, it was wonderful for the tenderloin, the great service and back home ambience!

Average dinner. The food was less than average, nothing great. Nick's Kitchen claims to be the originator of the breaded pork tenderloin sandwich so that is what I ordered. Other restaurants make better but it was still nostalgic to get one from Nick's Kitchen. Person who went with me said that their kitchen sink omelet was the best he ever had.

We were passing through Huntington and randomly decided to stop at Nick’s Kitchen. It looked like a cute local spot, but the experience was really disappointing. The only seating was at the counter, which was fine. We sat down, and a couple sat down right next to us. A waitress immediately took their order and brought their drinks, but never even looked at us. Then another waitress talked to a guy with his kids on the other side — and again, nothing. Then another waitress stood right in front of us rolling silverware and still didn’t say a word. We waited patiently to order, and were completely ignored. I strongly believe the treatment was due to my partner is African American. We ended up just walking out.
We didn’t expect anything fancy, just basic decency. Sadly, we didn’t get it.
