I stay at the Hilton once or twice a month but had never tried food from120 West Bar and Grill until today. I have ordered drinks and the bartender is amazing! I ordered the French cut chicken, it was delicious! As well as the bacon mashed potatoes and the broccoli was fantastic with maple sauce that came on the chicken and mashed potatoes. I will be back for breakfast in the morning!
This is my first ever review but it was that good!!

I'm staying at the Hilton, where this restaurant is in. There's a conference of 50,000 people here. After a day on sessions, I come to have a late dinner before closing. I'm always told (4 times already!) that there's going to a 20 minute wait on the count that there are not enough staff to serve. Ok. I ordered steak and fries and this is what I get (see picture). When I asked, "Where's the fries?" The answer was: "Sorry." Sorry. That's it? This is not good for Hilton. I feel like I'm in a "peasant" hotel restaurant! Where's the classy Hilton I used to know? Hire more servers!
Get your act together!

Disappointed in Indianapolis,
Les

I stopped in at 120 West Bar & Grill for a snack Saturday night before heading up to my hotel room. I ordered simple food ... a house salad and their house-made potato chips and French onion dip. I received my order and headed up to my room to get comfortable. The salad was very basic... lettuce, cherry tomatoes and a little cucumber. It was good but hardly seemed worthy of the $8 cost. I also ordered the potato chips and French onion dip for $12. The price was a bit high but it seemed like the most economical option on the menu for a light-ish snack. Everything on the menu, in my humble opinion, was overpriced. I grew up with French onion dip that was sour cream and onion soup mix and just good. When I opened the 120 West dip, it looked like a curdled mess. It smelled like onion dip but looked like the attached pictures. So, I dressed back up and took the dip downstairs to the grill. They looked at it and said "no, it shouldn't look like that" and they proceeded to give me fresh chips and dip. I went back up to my room and got comfortable again and opened it up and it was exactly the same curdled mess. I don't know if it was laziness giving me the same problematic dip again or just if the dip is supposed to be that way and they didn't take the time to tell me that but I couldn't eat it. The house made chips were mostly cold and soggy and oversalted from sitting around all day. Overall, for $12, this appetizer was terrible and I was very disappointed. I did speak to someone at the front desk about this in the morning and received a refund but, this was a terrible experience and I wouldn't eat there again when in town.

There were no vegan options. The server was great and tried to help me pick something but I'm very surprised and disappointed- I expected a lot better from a restaurant in the Hilton.

I was pleasantly surprised with my chicken salad sandwich. FYI, it’s more on the creamy side, but the chicken, roll, and tomatoes were all fresh. I appreciated that they serve food late.

We stopped here are a long day at Gencon. I really wanted a drink. I also the steak and fries. First off the menu item says steak n fries but in reality it was steak and fried potatoes. My steak was good but it would not be for everyone. It was covered in spices which made it delicious but not everyone would like it. My meal came with the fried potatoes. When I got the bill I was up charged for fires which I didn't get. It is called steak n fries but if you want fries you will be charged extra. You might even be charged for fries if you don't order them. Overall, I enjoyed my drink and my steak. The fried potatoes were good as well.

Mark is one of the best bartenders I have ever met. We have came for conference once a year for many, many years and he remembers most if not all of our specific drink orders, which is a talent in its self. Very kind and awesome man! Thank you Mark!! Hilton better not let this gem go!!

Dear if your few to no patrons need over 8 feet for a seving rail they don't need to be drinking or you don't need to be serving drinks

In town for work, had the coffee rub steak came with asparagus and crisp potatoes, cooked perfectly, side salad with ranch was fresh and crisp. Server Gavin was so polite and checked in often. Great stop if it's late and snowing out.

Terrible. Staying at hotel for convention, came in for breakfast, Eggs Benedict came hard cook.Came with a group of 9 for dinner, no one was in there and took forever to eat, get drink refills. 6 of us ordered onion soup, was terrible; no flavor like they added water to stretch it.I ordered the mushroom pizza, raw on bottom.Terrible. Wasn't this bad in parts, stay here every year

The servers were great, they were very attentive & kind. The food was just ok. Honestly, the oatmeal was the best thing, even better than the custom made omlets....

For a Hotel restaurant the food was very good. Unfortunately there was 1 waitress and 1 bartender for about 12 occupied tables and a fairly full bar. With the amount of staff available at a large hotel chain I would expect a level of service at least equal to your standard dining chain restaurant.
