It’s a busy place with limited seating, so go when you have time to wait. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to eat here. When you enter, you stand in line to order your food at the counter before you are seated. It is a very small space. There is a daily menu on a wall not convenient to see while you are standing in line. There were no printed menus to review before getting to the counter. They also don’t take your order until they have a table to seat you at; you literally continue to stand in line. Unfortunately, after standing in line for 20 minutes, they ran out of tables before the people in front of me ordered. Running tight with time, I was going to see if I could place an order to go, but it was clear the lady at the counter was trying to ignore any questions or service to those in line…simply stating she wasn’t going to take orders until tables cleared. I get it and it makes sense, but the space is not accommodating for this type of operation. I was here in a Saturday, brunch time. I hear going during the week, you might have better luck.
10/10! Had the best eggs of my life here. I'm not much of a breakfast person usually, my partner is the breakfast food lover. But WOW this place is absolutely amazing. Also got the lemon corncake and it was absolutely as delicious as it sounds. Will totally be back. Our server was really nice, attentive, and chill. Prices totally affordable and we got in right away. Total gem.
I’m not one to leave bad reviews AT ALL, but I hope my picture will portray why this was called for. We waited 45 minutes for our two meals to come out. I ordered the California Eggs Benedict, and the hollandaise sauce was curdling, pale in color, and very cold. My poached eggs were also cooked all the way through in the yolk and completely cold. I didn’t think the hollandaise sauce was safe to eat considering it’s condition, so I couldn’t eat my meal. My boyfriend got a 5 topping egg scramble and it only came with 2 of the 5 toppings he ordered (and he was not notified of this either). We got a side of house potatoes that, you guessed it, were freezing cold. To top it all off, our waitress was very impolite and conveniently added on an extra $5 to our bill for no reason. My boyfriend and I are very understanding and easy people to please, but this was very disappointing.
We had a lovely experience here! My husband got the garden egg scramble, and the black bean patty as a side. He said the scramble was probably the best he's had, and the black bean patty was seasoned well. I had the beer biscuit with chicken sausage and the power house potatoes (with cheese, onions and tofu) and all of it was delicious! We finished with a warm slice of banana bread, which was so soft. Prices are so reasonable for the amount of food served as well! We highly recommend this place!
The wait to get into this place was crazy. However, we were blown away by the kindness of the lady who took our name and our waitress. Both were so great! And the wait was all worth it because the food was absolutely delicious. The power potatoes were amazing and I had Tammy’s turkey pesto sandwich. I would highly recommended this establishment.
Today we had @3sisterscafeindy for brunch.I'll be honest, this wasn't it for me. The blueberry lemon corncakes looked great but were meh. The biscuits and gravy were alright. Husband said the French toast was tasty at least. The serving sizes were huge though so that's nice. To be fair my mood was already set when they tried to pass off my drink as an oatmilk latte (see last photo). Our waitress was nice and I have no complaints there.
Restaurant told us a 30 min wait. We were waiting for 50 min. When we arrived we noticed a woke atmosphere and a very condescending tone from all employees. *don’t bring outside drink or food into restaurant*. They really don’t like it when they make you wait way to long and you bring something else while you wait. Next, we finally were seated and ordered in a timely manner. We reminded him and he said he would get us one. Again another 20 min. goes by and no coke. Another waiter helping another table was asked for a coke and she said right away. Never saw her again. When we received the check we reminded him not to charge us for the coke. Only then did we get a “free” coke.Food was bland and salty. Don’t ask more than one question at a time. It will really slow down the process. We’re at this restaurant from 12:10 to 2:40. Would not recommend coming here.
My friend and I had a great brunch at 3 Sisters Cafe. Their vegan chili was delicious. We also ordered Sara Jo's grilled cheese, grilled veggie medley sandwich, and power house potatoes. Everything was delicious and the service was amazing, despite sitting on the second floor. We liked the atmosphere of having little nooks and rooms to sit in -it made the experience more cozy and welcoming.

Best breakfast I’ve ever had! I ordered the tofu scramble and powerhouse potatoes. It was seasoned so well! Our server was very nice too. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!

This place has an ultra-woke, anti-gun, anti-conservative people vibe to it, but they make up for it with the charming atmosphere, good food, and great service. The number one standout here was the coffee. It was probably the best we've had at a café. Usually we expect watery stuff, but this was strong without being burnt and perfectly complemented by some cream. The wife had the Pulled Chicken Mole Omelet, and I had the Build Your Own Breakfast Burrito. Both were really good. I'm not a fan of mole sauce, but the stuff they made for the omelet was pretty decent. We got a side of power house potatoes and that's definitely the way to go with your potatoes. They are nicely cooked skin-on potato chunks with some cheese and spices on top.
I love this place for its food. They have a lot of yummy vegan options here. However, I often dread actually coming here. They have ridiculously strict Covid requirements, like a mandatory mask rule with a $1 per mask price tag on the disposable masks available when you can get 50 masks for 3¢ each. Also, every time I come in here there’s a specific waitress who is pretty rude about literally everything. Every time I ask for the cashew spread on a sandwich she adamantly tells me how the cashew spread is sweet and won’t go with the sandwich I ordered and every single time I tell her I love the cashew spread on that sandwich and I get it almost every time. It’s very presumptuous. I’ve come across a couple other servers who are so sweet and nice to be around and do a great job. She just seems to be the odd one with a bad attitude. Today alone I watched them turn away a total of 7 customers because of their mask rule and the last time I was here they were saying how understaffed they are…. I bet they’d be making more money if they loosened their Covid restrictions or chose their battles a little more wisely with the price on their disposable masks and the attitude around it. I love supporting local businesses but the best advice I can give is to be flexible, less rigid and you may find you have more business than you can handle, in a good way! All the best wishes… do yourselves a favor and take inventory of your employees and their presence in your cafe. It’s palpable and I’m sure I’m not the only human me who notices.
I had the Biscuits and Chicken Sausage Gravy. Service was suffering due to short staffing so I want to put that up front it may not of been a normal experience. As far as the breakfast the B&G was good in concept but was lacking slightly in flavor, I feel more boiled down bone broth or sausage should of been used as it lacked umami and richness in it's flavor and was very "light" tasting. Maybe that's your thing, but I prefer a very robust tasting gravy especially if it's got a lot of pepper in it, which it did. The biscuits were great quality themselves and I would say most likely were made from scratch, which I greatly appreciate! Overall it was a decent place but don't expect a large menu to choose from. I imagine there may of been items I would of enjoyed more on the menu but the chicken sausage gravy sounded unique and I had to give it a try. Price was very fair for Indianapolis, so nothing to scoff at there. I'll probably give them another try if I get the chance but I was only in the area for one night and only have this experience to go from.
The staff is super great. Came with a medium sized party of my sorority sisters. The staff was so sweet! There was a little bit of a wait (about 15 mins), but it was so worth it! I had eggs Benedict and a half order of biscuits and gravy. I think they appeared in travel Chanel or food network or something. Now I know why. it’s adorable on the inside. Service was quick and friendly. I hope to be back soon!
We waited outside like the sign indicated (even though it was freezing!) and eventually someone came to get us. She was not very nice but oh well. Our waiter was fine, he did a nice job with refills and answering our questions but did not understand their tea menu so my sister wound up with a green tea instead of black. Not a huge problem, but something to note. I watched a different server be very rude to a family who walked in without reading the “wait outside sign”—I can’t blame them for coming in, it was very windy and cold outside and no one else was out there! Food was fine, nothing special. But the worst part was waiting for the bathroom and seeing an employee come out after immediately flushing and his hands were bone dry. He also had no mask on despite their signs everywhere requiring them. I watched him walk back to the kitchen and then when I went into the bathroom I was met with horrible smells and a destroyed toilet. Clearly the man was having a rough time in there but he left it for customers to deal with. I grabbed another waitress to let her know and she did not seem to care. Needless to say, we won’t be going back.
