We've only ate here one time, but it was really good!
They had live music that night and the band was really good and not too loud where you could still carry on a conversation.

Went here for lunch, very disappointed. I’ll start with the positives. The actual establishment clean & welcoming. The meat cooked well (texture wise). Portion sizes good. Indiana Corn well seasoned, biscuits very tasty, brisket lightly flavored but good. The bad, links ABSOLUTELY no flavor very weird taste. Sides were all horrible. Mac & Chesse just noddles with cheese & green onions sprinkled on top, very dry and no flavor. Baked beans taste like canned pork and beans. Green beans definitely straight from can to pot just added tomatoes no taste or flavor. Staff was ok kind of bland like the food. Asked for water and was pointed to a modern water fountain with a bucket next to it to scoop out your ice. Probably won’t go back any time soon

Came in on a rainy Wednesday afternoon. We enjoyed the quiet vibes since we have been in on busy days where it's a packed house. Always incredibly delicious food & good on tap options. Can't say enough good things about the burnt ends & am elated they have elote!

Great food, horrible service. Bartender was incredibly rude even cussed at me. It was unfortunate because the food was great but the strange interaction made it a much lesser experience for me and my friends. If they had better service I would go all the time.

Pork was good. Baked beans were good. Brisket was forgettable. The sausage was the weirdest thing I've had at a BBQ spot. It was literally all texture. There wasn't even a smokey flavor let alone a spiced sausage flavor. I'm really at a lost for words as to how bland it was. Service was very friendly and kind. If I find my way back, it will be for the pork. Also the pickles I think were the best things I ate here.

We got carry out today from 317 BBQ, it was such a disappointment. The ribs were tough and the sides were terrible, the white cheddar mac and cheese was dry and the green beans were tasteless. We spent over $90.00 for a very disappointing meal!
It had been a year since we last visited 317 BBQ. I love Texas barbecue. My wife is a good sport. We’ve enjoyed 317 in past as the most authentic in Indy. Now we’d recommend the food and not to expect much from the ambiance. The food: really top-notch brisket and ribs, great baked beans and potato salad. Sadly, mac and cheese mushy and tasteless. Ambiance: front dining room too cold for comfort, so went to the big, empty backroom bar, the patio in warm weather. The lone staffer expected us to come to the bar to order. We asked to sample the pork belly burnt ends. She said she couldn’t do that. We ordered a beer from the list on the wall, only to find out the kind of beer we really wanted was on a table clip. We asked for water and she directed us to a wall dispenser that only had hot water. The food came quickly and the server got us one plastic cup of water with ice. Two of our sides were fine but we unfortunately got the mac and cheese. They did take that side off the bill. The back room bar had little atmosphere. We’ll go back for the great barbecue ribs, sausage, chicken, brisket, etc. But we’ll likely get the takeout.

Food was awful. It came out cold and tasteless. We got the nachos, brisket, meatloaf, Mac and cheese, beans, fries. None of it was good. The cookies were rock hard. Both of us felt sick immediately after leaving. Would not recommend.

Cannot recommend 317 BBQ enough!! Catered my family reunion at the last minute and when I tell you the limited time only smoked turkey was a HIT I am not lying. Run, do not walk, to 317 and do whatever it takes to get your hands on this turkey for Thanksgiving, for meal prep, for snacks, for your own good, because you love yourself and know you deserve delicious things. Cheat code: leftovers make for excellent tacos and sandwiches. Do you but please do not vote flavor out of office, you need this. PS: Everything is delicious but these turkeys have earned your love, just gotta give them a chance.

I had the opportunity to visit this place during a recent road trip from Dayton, and it did not disappoint!
The food was amazing!
We tried a whole and half pound of brisket, along with mac and cheese, a biscuit, and potato salad.
I can't wait to visit again!

Really “good” BBQ. Quotations for the variability on quality. The only thing that doesn’t make this 5 stars is because all their food is made from scratch and there’s some variability in the quality. Some days it’s 5 star quality, most days actually. Once in awhile it’s mediocre. Their BBQ sauces are excellent, good variety in sides, and we love their pulled pork.

Great food. Not expensive. Kid friendly. Staff was kind. Got to play corn hole while waiting for food with my daughter. We will be adding this to our regular places to eat list.

So we went to this place based off the good reviews today. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!! in the attached, photo is what we order plus a cookie that was hard as rock and banana pudding that had no flavor to it at all. The brisket was dry, flavorless, with no smoky taste to it and the street corn missing something just can’t catch what it was but I could have did it out it. Chili dip with the fries was mediocre. No good service the staff did not check in on us while we was eating to see how the food was or if we needed refills kind just when they was bringing the check. Will not be coming back to this restaurant at all. Don’t waste your time Or money here. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!.. and I don’t know who is leaving these good reviews but they should be sue..lol…
The food is terrible. TERRIBLE. Brisket was all fat. Chicken was tasteless. Mac and cheese was plain and gross. Green beans were flavorless and raw and had tomato in them but no meat? Everything was ice cold. And $14 for six deviled eggs that they didn’t even cook themselves. Just SO disappointing. I wanted to love it…now I know not to go back.
