Was here for a happy hour. Food was good, but service was lack luster. Many of us waited and had to call the server over several times to be able to get service. Also, upon leaving, Had to wait an additional 10 minutes for my itemized receipt.

Ordered the fish and chips. I received 5 pieces of fish, fries, Cole slaw and hush puppies. Such a generous amount that could be split of eaten for different meals. It is a family friendly restaurant and also has the bar section on my side. We will go back !

The regulars are awesome! The owners though—— questionable. Just kidding. Kevin and Cora are the best. Staff, food, atmosphere. All amazing. If only we could get that velvet rope for the VIP area, and to get the owner to stop throwing coasters. My daughter always requests their cheesecake when she knows I’m stopping by. I love their Ahi Tuna Wontons. I’ve had almost everything on the menu and have never had a complaint! Bring back the Beef Bugolgi bowl!!! And the dill pickle cheese curds. Pretty please?! See ya soon! (As I’m typing this while sitting and watching the colts game AT Aj’s).

Food was incredible and so was the service. My only gripe would be that the appetizers came out only 2 minutes before the meal. Other than that , had a great experience. The filet was so nice and tender. The fish was light and flaky. The mushroom soup was delicious, almost as good as mine
They close the kitchen at 10pm and will turn you down for drinks at 1020pm on a Friday.

First time I have been to AJ’s and I went with the wife and Mother in Law. Atmosphere was well lit and music was at good volume. I was able to understand everyone at the table talking in normal voices. Had the ribeye with mash and street corn. Ribeye was thick and cooked on point, mash was creamy and light and street corn had the right amount of spice. Ate all including most the fat. That tarragon butter made it sensational. Wife had the Chicken Fajitas and they were awesome. Guacamole was buttery and smooth with a hint of spice. The rice was absolutely the best rice we have had in a long time. Whoever cooked that knows what they are doing. Mother in Law had the Baja Fish Tacos. The breading was not heavy and the sauce was on point. The Mother in Law was actually humming while she ate it was that good. I really wanted to try the peach cobbler but after that thick ribeye I had no room for dessert. Will have to try next time. Will definitely be coming back with more people and will let everyone I know about this place. It was a nice well rounded menu appeasing to our three different desires for the night. Next time I go I want to try the Brussel sprouts with roasted pork belly. That sounded awesome.

Cannot believe how unprofessional and disrespectful the owner is. Please read ALL the reviews before coming here. The owner is commenting on the bad reviews, calling people idiots and arguing very rudely back and forth instead of apologizing for their mistakes. Would’ve expected a lot more maturity from an older staff!
