“I came in on a Sunday and was greeted by a man that strongly recommend I try a certain combo of food and I went up the street to grab something and come back to find a new person at the front (she said they had been short staffed so she came in. She also shared that she and her husband had loved the food a lot, became regulars at the restaurant, and she started working there part time). As soon as I opened my order when it came out, I knew it'd be ? and my instinct was right when i finally did dig in. Chicken was tender, sauce was the right blend of sweet and heat, and the sides were great compliments. Hats off to the chef and his recs and the rest of the kind staff that work there!“

“the place was a random find, we never even knew that west african barbecue was a thing. glad we found this. we got the Kulikuli Suya and the hot peppered half chicken suya, both were great. especially the kulikuli suya. it was spicy, hot and delicious.
the person who took the order was kind to give us a sample of the different flavors as it was our first time there.
I would definitely give this place a visit.“

“I went today at the recommendation of a Nigerian man I met. First time eating Nigerian food, I loved it! The other customers were chatting with me and making suggestions, the employees were friendly and patient with me not knowing exactly how to order. The food was delicious. We got there right at 11 and it seems best to arrive a touch later as the food really started all rolling out around 12.
Had a blast can’t wait to go again.“

“The food is just, absolutely incredible! The portions are huge compared to what you're paying, so worth every penny. The service was exactly what I expect from an African establishment. They're to the point, helped me decide how to put my meal together, and knew what to add to my order for me. They knew exactly what I was after, no matter how bad I was at communicating it to them. The food was also so good, I almost couldn't stand it!If you want authentic African food, this is definitely a good place to order from. The thing is, you have to know how to order from an authentic African place. You can't expect a friendly atmosphere. It's culturally different than here in the US, and that's almost every African place I've been to. Learn how to navigate other people's culture, don't expect them to conform to ours.I'll definitely be back, you have created a big fan of your food.“

“Quaint location. The table setting is best suitable for appetizers or finger food. The food was good. The best dish, the moi moi. The red stew has a mild level of heat and the flavors were okay. The protein portion is suitable for the price. We both selected the fish and we both received a 1/4 pound of fish. It was still delectable. The jollof rice had all the familiar flavors. It would have brought the flavor profile to the next level if there was some heat. The server was friendly and courteous. The puff puff was good with mild sweetness. Overall, it was a good dining experience.

Parking: Parking lot is behind the building, there is no lighting. Best option to park on the front of the building.“

“Went in about 7pm- no one was there it's black Friday- lady at the register wasnt pleasant but I wanted to give the business a try. midway thru the order she picks up the phone stays on the phone then counts money never washed hands. glad my food was in the bag somewhat at this point. Since prices weren't listed I think she made them up because door dash prices were alot less. Then she didn't want to give me my .72 change- meat was overcooked must have been sitting for far to long in buffet style warmers- I won't be going back.“

“This is not our first time trying Somali food, but still it took our breath away. The foods are all halal. We highly recommend both beef and lamb with rice. The beef dish had plenty of meat and the lamb was juicy and tender. The rice was delicious and filled with flavor. Last but not least, the staffs were so nice and welcoming. While we were waiting they offered us almost half plate of meat as appetizer. They also served somali tea and salad for free. The price is a bit high in Indiana standard but totally worth it. Also they have a place for prayer, which is very rare in USA.

Dietary restrictions: Halal“
