I want to begin by expressing that this is one of my favorite coffee shops in the city—a true hidden gem. The quality of the coffee is consistently outstanding, and the pastries are exceptional. The staff members are not only friendly but also highly knowledgeable, which enhances the overall experience. Amberson Coffee & Grocer is such a gem! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the coffee and groceries are always top quality, and the team truly goes above and beyond. Working with Hugo was an absolute pleasure—professional, kind, and genuinely invested in creating a great experience for his guests. I can’t recommend this place enough!

It took 30 minutes to get my one to go latte this morning, and I know I wasn’t the only one :( I wish they had a sign about the wait time or at least warned you at the counter that they’re behind, because I had somewhere to be and I was late. This is not the first time it’s taken what felt like too long here, but 30 minutes makes me think twice about coming here over somewhere quicker next time.
