Amore! Italian Kitchen

Everything was so amazing for my birthday dinner! A huge thank you to Alejandra (our amazing server) who was attentive and made sure we were without want. The dining experience was beautiful, with lights creating a beautiful atmosphere (and making the ring sparkle!). The food was superb: my lasagna felt cooked with love, and the cannoli was super good. The angel hair I tried on others' plates was also superb. Will def be coming back soon and requesting Alejandra!

The host that greeted didn't seem welcoming, he just put the menus down and walked away. We ordered a bottle of wine and calamari, but no bread was served. Dinner took too long to come out. When it finally came out, my veal piccata was cool, not hot. I was so hungry I didn't say anything to the waiter. We also ordered two dinners to go. For our birthday we got free dessert, but the waiter put them in the to go box without asking us if we wanted to eat it at the restaurant. Funny thing is they gave us bread with the to go order. Why was it not served with our dinner? The portions are also smaller then expected for the price. The taste of everything was very good, but we are not just paying for taste, it's the atmosphere, and attention to detail. For $200 I expect more. This used to be my favorite Italian restaurant, not sure if we will be back.

Great food and the Colin was amazing and had great recommendations. I had the pan fried Walleye with a lemon sauce that will make you want to lick the plate. The vegetables were cooked to perfection and the angel hair pasta was just an added bonus. We wish we knew about this place sooner. It's close to home and a great experience.

3rd time here and each visit was excellent. Great food. We like 1/2 price wine Tuesdays! Def worth a visit

I had a wonderful dinner with my family at Amore. Our server made the evening feel like an experience rather than a transaction. We were informed that the restaurant uses mostly local ingredients, is locally owned, and creates its food in house. The bread service came with a dip that had balsamic vinegar, oil, and toasted cheese that created a beautiful aroma. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. Fan favorites are the chicken piccata and the spaghetti and meatballs. I ordered the brown butter gnocchi which was also very good. All eight adults had enough leftovers for lunch the following day. We were there to celebrate a birthday and we even received two cannolis to celebrate. Our group really enjoyed the turtle cannoli. Overall, we all had a lovely evening and I would be happy to go back.

How does one mess up Chicken Picata this badly?! Chicken was dry and pasta was overcooked. Service was lackluster. Avoid this place!

Visited for the first time this evening and it was fantastic! They had wonderful live music and the food was great. I ordered the Brown Butter Gnocchi and I opted for the Lemon Tortellini soup. Both were extremely flavorful and the portions are large. The complimentary house made bread was fantastic as well. I will definitely return!

Found this diamond while on a girls' trip to Indianapolis! Food was fantastic...I could have licked the skillet of Creamy Tuscan sauce! Service from Julia was excellent. Tiramasu was some of the best we ever had..1 piece DEFINITELY enough to split! Next time Im back on Indianapolis, I will be making a stop..In might even make a special trip from Cincinnati just to come here!!
