Another Broken Egg Cafe

BRUNCH BUCKS ARE A SCAM!!! Server talked us into buying gift cards 2 months ago to use and said we’d get $20 free. Turns out the brunch bucks can only be used 1 per TABLE- not even check. So now we have to choose which one of my friends (who got the deal with me) get the $10 off (because the $20 was split into 2 $10 coupons). Huge waste of money. Do not recommend

It was our first time eating here & the service was excellent!! Our waiter, Elio, really impressed us. He was one of the best waiters we’ve had! Very kind and attentive. My husband got a Colombian coffee and he really enjoyed it. Their house recipe pepper sauce was also really good :)

The food was good but not spectacular.
The beignet were over fried and were more like sweet hush puppies, not delicate pillows. Disappointing.
The sandwich was soggy and had to be eaten with a knife and fork. The gumbo was overly salty.
The service was good. The employees are engaged with the customers and each other.
The atmosphere forgot to show up. The seating is cramped and uncomfortable. It was so loud, having a conversation was difficult.
It's an okay place.

Great birthday brunch today! We were given a big bowl of beignets on the house and all of our food was wonderful. Our server was great and very patient with our large party. A really nice place for our birthday outing.
