This is another nice place for a good meal, and one I’m surprised we hadn’t discovered until now. Their specialty here is seafood. They have a number of large aquariums in various dining rooms, which are nice to see and which add to the overall ambience. I went to Kona Jack's hoping to eat a good quality seafood dinner. The server was very nice and the menu looked promising. No frozen seafood, the server said, everything will be cooked fresh. I was really looking forward to eat well there. But the unimaginative quality of cooking and the look of the food on the plates were very disappointing, no better than one would get in an average roadside pub. The check showed an amount you would expect to pay in an upscale restaurant....
It's always a great time at Apres Jack's on Wednesday night. Joey and Dani provide excellent service, food is good, and Toy Factory will have you up and dancing to their funky rhythms.
