Baan Thai not only has the most delicious Thai food I’ve ever had, but it is made and served by the loveliest and kindest staff. My four year old constantly asks to come here for his “favorite noodles” (Pad See Ew), the crab Rangoon dip, and his favorite dessert (sticky rice and mango). I am a sucker for the drunken noodles, which are LOADED with fresh and delicious veggies, but also love the Thai fried chicken, chicken drumstick with curry noodles, and honestly everything I’ve ever had there! Going here makes my heart and belly happy, and it’s always my favorite place to recommend to people! Thank you for being such a gem in the city!

We have been to this restaurant numerous times for dine in and have even done take out. There is nothing in the menu we have not enjoyed! As a picky eater, I will say this restaurant is a 10/10! The thom yum Hot with shrimp and their honey Siracha wings are my favorite!

Amazing, authentic Thai food. I spent two months in Thailand in 1999 and this is the best Thai food I’ve had in the States. Large portions. Red Curry and Thai Fried Chicken are divine!

I always get the tofu red curry, thai hot! I want to try other things but I just can’t go wrong with the curry. I’m so thankful for this absolute gem that came to Wanamaker. The staff is pleasant and always warm and welcoming. I have yet to encounter a bad experience, they’re always on point!! I think I might come in later today to get some more curry… yum yum!!!!!!!!!!

We were here again last week and blown away like every other time. We had Thai Fried Chicken , pineapple fried rice, crispy pork belly, and the Crying Tiger Steak. Every bite is fresh, bright and often unexpected. Service is also stellar. This has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants.

This adorable bistro is beautiful, light and airy. The food is absolutely delicious. Everyone in our party loved everything we tried and shared. Those that had been there before were smart and ordered a second entrée to go.

Vegetarian options: There are plenty of Vegan options. A lot of the menu had the option of selecting what protein you wanted added (or none at all).

Dietary restrictions: The menu has gluten-free dishes available.

Parking: Parking is in the back and for the number of guest the restaurant can hold offers plenty of space unless you're driving a gargantuan extended cab pickup, box truck, or semi truck...

The atmosphere was very nice. It's a bit small, but does it's job. The server was friendly and helpful. The pineapple fried rice and shrimp were so good, very flavorful. The crab rangoon dip was really good. The spring rolls were normal spring rolls. The Thai iced tea was really good. The fried bananas and coconut ice cream were amazing! The elephant ear to me tasted a little under cooked, so it was just okay. The fried chicken and rice bowl were absolutely amazing, and the flavor was so good!

Went here with a group of ladies from church. It was my first time here and my mom's first time having Thai food.

The food was good, as was the service. There were a couple of things that should have been mentioned before ordering (like there is an upcharge for fried rice as opposed to jasmine rice), but that did not detract from how good the food was.

My only complaint would be the size of the location, but we were a larger party, so they adjusted and accommodated our large party.

I will definitely be going back.

Wheelchair accessibility: Very tiny location. While there is a ramp in the back, the restaurant is definitely hard to navigate if you have a walker/rollator and/or wheelchair/scooter.

This is my new favorite restaurant!
The flavors of the dishes are just out of this world. I had the pad Thai and it was hands down the best pad Thai I’ve ever had.
My husband had a curry that was also some of the best. We started with the crab dip, and ended with the fried bananas and coconut ice cream… all of our food was DYNAMITE!!!
The service was fast and friendly! The atmosphere was so beautiful and calming !! I just can’t say enough good things! I can’t wait to go again! (:

I had several friends recommend this place.....To be honest I thought Wanamaker would not have a quality restaurant. The pizza places are great, but better dining??? This was EXCELLENT!! The restaurant was designed well. I am an interior designer and they did great things with this space. The food had great presentation and was EXCELLENT!! The prices were reasonable and the staff were great! I would recommend this place to everyone..

Oh and lunch is basically the same price as dinner...and it is still reasonable. We also got an appetizer, so that makes the price per person higher.

My wife and I were craving some Thai for dinner but wanted to try something new. The flavor was excellent my wife had the beef green curry and she was delighted. I had the beef drunken noodles. The flavor was the best drunken noodles I've had in indiana. The service was great and friendly. Will definitely come back.
