First time here and the food was fantastic. Lots of proper traditional dishes , done well . Over all , I give it a 9 /10 . Every thing delicious , well plated and perfectly cooked. The only real critique I have is the Khao Soi. The chicken was completely cooked , but wasn't cooked long enough to be fall off the bone. I couldn't pull the chick drumstick apart with chopsticks , and had to strip it with a fork 🤷 Not the end of the world , but a small point worth noting , Imo. One of the key points of Khao Soi is the fall apart tender meat. Aside from that , it was delicious. The curry broth was fantastic and they had proper mustard greens too .... Many places in the US skip the pickled mustard greens, unfortunately. The Masaman curry was equally delicious as was the boat noodle soup ! We had a truly delightful dinner !! Service was fantastic, with very friendly staff !! It's in a quant little spot , and used to be a house at one time. It's gets very busy at peak time, and deservedly so, so you may want to plan accordingly. They do not have a large dining room . Great problem to have though !!! Overall, absolutely will go back , hopefully sooner than later. There are lots of other things on the menu I wish to try !!!

We shared pad thai and drunken noodles.
Since it was cold, we also had some hot jasmine tea.
Everything was delicious, and the lunch prices were really reasonable.
I’d definitely come back again.

This is a very small Thai place, but it’s very clean and well kept. There isn’t much room inside, but the food makes it worth stopping by. The Thai fried chicken rice bowl is good and flavorful, and the fried rice is also solid. I really liked the crab Rangoon dip—it was tasty and a nice twist. The tom yum soup is not bad and comforting. The crispy rice salad was okay, just not what I expected as a salad since it’s mostly crispy rice and not many greens. Overall, it’s a good little spot with decent food.

One of the best Thai places we have been to in Indianapolis. Great ambience, service and options. We love the green curry and the hangover soup.

This was my second time getting take out from Baan Thai. This time, I ordered the Pad Thai, with spring rolls and crab Rangoon dip. The food wasn’t bad. It just wasn’t exceptional. The flavors are rather subtle, as opposed to being bold and full of flavor. It’s worth trying out if you’re new to it, I’m sure there’s a good number of people out there that prefer mild and subtle flavors. This place could be so much better if the chef would just let loose and really kick up the flavor.

Everything was perfect. While I waited for my meal, they even brought me a complimentary soup and spring roll, which was a really thoughtful touch.

My server, Connor, did an outstanding job — attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. I’ve ordered from Baan Thai Bistro many times for takeout or delivery, but this was my first dine-in experience, and it was a very satisfying 10/10.

I ordered the Spicy Basil Fried Rice after seeing it had a 100% rating on Uber Eats, and it absolutely lives up to the hype. Perfectly seasoned, beautifully prepared, and served just right. I could taste every flavor and was genuinely blown away.

The entire kitchen staff was in a great mood, which really added to the atmosphere. Embarrassingly, I dropped my spoon, and a kind woman nearby immediately grabbed me new silverware — just another example of the great energy in the place.

Also — first time ever asking for the spice level “hot,” and they nailed it. Not too hot, not too mild — just perfect.

Thank you, Baan Thai Bistro. Well done.

My favorite place in Wanamaker! Also the prices are very reasonable and the menu has unique dishes you can't find at every Thai restaurant.
