Great cafe, food was delicious with plenty of options. Serving size was more than enough & every dish is made from scratch. Drove right past a chain restaurant & glad we did.
My 6 year old and I stopped in for brunch on a Saturday when visiting Indianapolis. So glad with our choice! This place is authentic, local, unique, and delicious. It is an experience dining here with so much to look at and see around you. Our food was delicious and the service was prompt. The worst part was finding parking, which if you think about it, is a good sign!
I visit Indy for work a couple times a month and Ruth's is always a must stop for me. I usually get one of the benedicts. Everything seems to be made from scratch and always tastes fresh. The staff is always helpful and friendly.
Great food, extensive menu, casual atmosphere, quirky and colorful décor, large portions, friendly service. Ask for Nurse Ratched!
Lots on the menu. Food was hot and yummy. Wait staff with bun and big hoop earrings on June 19th was awesome!
I can say I've never been disappointed at Ruth's. My kids love it, everyone I have ever invited there has loved it. It is just a great little place. Breakfast is our normal go-to there but lunch selection is great as well. We love the variety of teas. Belgian waffle is amazing. Biscuits and gravy are delicious. Crab cake egg Benedict one of my newer faves. Love that you can mix and match to create your scramble or omelet. Highly recommend
We happened upon the Cafe by chance and had the Eggs Benedict, Florentine Benedict, pancake and half order of biscuit and gravy. Well proportioned plates for thr Benedicts. The pancake was the size of the large plate it was served on. And, the Half Biscuit and Gravy was large enough we are glad we didn’t order the full! The Florentine was excellent with sourdough bread and flavorful tomato. Just excellent. The standard Benedict was average. Canadian Bacon is a must on these and I didn’t find the ham as flavorful as it needs to be to carry the dish. It seems that each dish has its on spin with the key ingredients. You will like it or you may not, as is evident in some of the former reviews. I found the ambience to bring more to the restaurant experience than I had expected. It is well executed with an artist eye.
At the suggestion from the waiter, ordered the Crab Cake Benedict and Eggs over Beef Brisket Hash. Both were tasteless. Beef Brisket was a cheap piece of steak cut up in cubes.
I love their omelets here! I like to do build your own and always get a huge plate. This is my new must-stop when visiting Indy.
The atmosphere was very fun and inviting. The homemade food was delicious. I had the hash with hollandaise sauce. The homemade jelly with the toast was a really good surprise. Definitely come here again

This one is good. Amazing ice coffee - some amazing whipped cream on top. Tried the chicken and egg salad and both were good. Fast service. Not overly friendly. Definitely would go back.
We had a delicious breakfast at Ruth’s. Tried the Indiana Benedict, cinnamon raisin French toast, crab cake Benedict, and huge thin pancakes covered with fresh fruit. Everything was delicious. Service good. Locally owned. We’ll be back.
Food was delicious, décor quirky and our server Juan was efficient, personable and fun. Locally owned business which was a plus.
Ruth's Cafe is a very ecletic restaurant with lots of bright and wild colours. The food was good but the portion size of the omelet was very small. The service was good and prices reasonable.
I decided to stop after leaving a nearby appointment. I ordered the half chicken salad sandwich on sourdough and half salad with chicken salad on it. My sandwich came on toasted white bread which was burnt on the edges, cold, and hard like it had been sitting out for a while. I threw the bread away. My first bite of the sandwich tasted like tuna. (Some tuna must have gotten in it.) After that - the chicken salad had little to no flavor, so I needed to season it. The same with the chicken salad on the salad.
