Bakersfield Mass Ave

Absolutely cannot express my thanks to Bakersfield and, specifically, their GM Ruth! I had a catering order placed at The Eagle which couldn't be completed due to The Eagle shutting down due to a water heater issue. I went over to Bakersfield in the hopes of getting some form of resolution and I can't say enough. Ruth went above and beyond to put together a replacement order and was beyond kind about the entire interruption I caused (in the middle of dinner rush and a snow storm, to boot)! Seriously, I can't articulate how thankful I am for Ruth and their entire team!

Love this taco place! Second time here (we are from out of town.) Ambiance, service, food all top notch.

Great server and we got our food in plenty of time to make it to the concert at Old National.

Food was excellent. The wrong food was delivered to our table and the staff seemed a bit confused. Our food was delivered and was excellent!! I think the staff confusion was related to the noise level. It was extremely loud and did not lend to conversation

Great food and drinks, service was good, atmosphere is a little different. They don't play classic westerns on TV anymore and had sports center on all the TVs

We had lunch at Bakersfield and it was great!! Had a total of 5 different tacos and the delicious queso as an appetizer, and had amazing service from Sunshine! Overall it was a relaxing and yummy lunch experience.

Honestly one of my all time favorite places, it’s gotten a bit pricey I miss the $2 boot beers and the $5 queso’s but it’s not really their fault with all this crazy inflation, the queso and fish tacos are my personal favorite. Great times had here!

my sister and i had lunch at bakersfield and we had the sweetest server Kara! she was so friendly and really made our entire experience.

Every time we grab a bite here, we stick to the same tacos (the Baja shrimp are my favorite) and I always order the pineapple margarita. The staff is friendly and chatty—in a good way-but the main reason we keep coming back is the guacamole.
We've tried so many places, but we always end up comparing them to this one. It's always fresh, with just the right amount of lime.

I met some friends for drinks and light dinner after work. Our waiter was excellent, attentive, cheerful and helpful throughout our visit. The chips with guacamole and the trio salsa were delicious. There were several good beer options on tap and the margaritas were delicious. The tacos are small but very tasty, and you can order one or multiple depending on your appetite. We were seated in the bar area which was a little loud, but we had a great time and appreciated the good food & service.
