I made a reservation. When I arrived I was seated in the corner. 15 min went by and no one had said anything to me. I walked to the front and was about to ask if this is how they conduct business. Anne noticed me and when I told her, she took me to her section and served me very promptly. She even gave me a shot for the initial delay. So my experience is a 5 star because one person made a difference! Gratitude 😎

Bakersfield on Mass Ave is one of my favorite spots in Indy! The tacos are consistently fresh and packed with flavor — simple ingredients done really well. The short rib and al pastor are always great choices.

For appetizers, the short rib queso is a must. It’s rich, flavorful, and perfect for sharing — definitely my go-to starter every time.

The vibe is fun and energetic without being overwhelming, making it perfect for a casual night...

What a cool place! Everything we ordered was outstanding - we especially enjoyed the short rib queso and the chicken taquitos. Our server, Kara, had good recommendations and took great care of us.
