Went there for my Cheat day I got the large tip as usual it was Fire..my wife got a Bbq on Bun sandwich(FIRE)...the cash register was actin funny so they gave us cheese cake i would been cool not gettin anything extra but at bbq heaven they treat you Good... My favorite bbq heaven but this place is never open, it's like the employees live in the neighborhood and just decide not to work that day..online times say open..you go and theyre closed 3 days in a row, the one on MLK stays open until 12p...this place is NEVER open, I wish it was under better management ..when u do catch them open the food and service are great

The food is not good. Go somewhere else. The prices are also insane for the amount of food you get.

Barbecue heaven used to be the spot for good food and customer service. The person taking the order from my brother saw on his T-shirt that he worked for a restaurant and made a statement that obviously where he works the food must not be too good or he wouldn't be here! I couldn't believe that she said that! A manager corrected this inbred cashier, and reminded her that we are the customer!
Well, BBQ heaven's food is NOT fit for a dog! I got home ready to eat...very disappointed! The mac and cheese tasted like it had been frozen and re-heated, baked beans tasted like uncooked pork and beans with ketchup? and the ribs were so tough they hurt my teeth!
My husband and I threw the food away and made a sandwich instead. This business needs to close down if this is what you call good food!..(NOT)

When I say customer service...mixed w/ hospitality and good food you get a great food experience...I 100% recommend Bar-B-Q Heaven...The food & customer was so good I had 2 call back and let them know how good it was!

Good barbecue, been going for years. Just depends on whose cooking the ribs. I think the guys name was Jerry, now those were good ribs.

I was in Indy this week and this institution was a stone's throw from where my cousins grew up. They're in their 60s now but as kids their dad would take them Bar-B-Q Heaven for ribs. A bunch of us stopped in and my cousins did the ordering. We had ribs all around including a chicken and ribs combo platter, a whole mess of sides including string beans, potato salad, Cole slaw, and baked beans. The BBQ was legit and the ribs were delicious! I'm more a babybacks with meat falling off the bone guy, but these ribs had a LOT of flavor and I loved the sauce. I loved the smell of smoke as we got out of the car and the original old school decor (72 years!!). When I'm back in Indianapolis I'll def return!
